🚨The Packers MUST DO THIS If They Want To Beat The Bears🚨

[Music] I know we all hate the Chicago Bears and believe me, I hate the Chicago Bears, but I think we can all realize and admit, man up and say that Chicago has outperformed pretty much every single expectation they had going into this season. Even the most optimistic Bears fan I think would tell you they would be surprised that this team was nine and three through the first 13 weeks of the season. Like I think people really like the Ben Johnson hire. I think people really thought the Ben Johnson hire was a good one. But I don’t think people really expected results this quickly. I think they expected them at some point. I think everybody saw what he was able to do in Detroit over the last couple of seasons and they said that guy’s probably a winner. You’re going to be able to score points but it’s going to take a little while. Well, it really hasn’t. Now, all that being said, I’m done glazing the Chicago Bears because I still think that there is a blueprint to beat them. I still believe that the Green Bay Packers have a way to take them down. And I’m going to tell you one thing that they must do if they’re going to beat Chicago on Sunday. Or should I say, while they’re beating Chicago on Sunday, how bad do you want to beat the Bears? So, getting a victory against Chicago all lies in stopping their rushing attack. Right. They have one of the best running back rooms and rushing offenses in all of the National Football League. 153.8 yards a game on the ground. Second best in the NFL. their yards per play, yards per rush, 4.9 yards a carry, fifth best, their rushes of 10 yards or more, 54 of them, number one across the National Football League. And the reason is they got a pretty solid one-two punch and Kyle Manungai. And of course with DeAndre Swift as well, Swift gets more carries. Manungai has a better yards per carry. They’re basically Chicago’s version of Jir Gibbs and David Montgomery. a little bit of their own Sonic and Knuckles. Both have over 590 yards on the season. Both have five touchdowns. Both have ripped off long yards of 25 yards or more. Sitt at 4.9 and 4.8 yards a carry for each of them. And they absolutely went off against the Philadelphia Eagles. That was the game plan going into it. It was obvious that Ben Johnson came into that ball game say, “Okay, we’re going to win this football game by running it and running it and running it over and over again.” in Philadelphia. We’re going to dare you to stop it. 22 carries from a young guy, 130 yards, 18 for Swift, 125 yards. Those two combined, 40 carries over 250 yards. It’s funny because you can look at the exact flip side of that coin and say that’s the reason they won. But it’s also in the losses that they’ve had is the reason they’re losing those football games because they’re just not able to run the football. Only 119 yards on the ground for the entire team against Minnesota. under 34 against Detroit. That was their week one and week two loss. And then when they lost in week eight against Baltimore, 96 yards, 4.2 yards a carry. But Joey, why does it matter to stop the run? I find yourself asking, don’t they have Roma Dunay? Don’t they have Caleb Williams who’s looked pretty good this year? Well, I’m here to argue that he actually has not been that great. The wins are nice, points are nice, but the statistics and when you break them down, it’s easy to see he is directly hiding behind everything they’re doing with running the football. His completion percentage right now, 58.1%. That is the lowest in the National Football League. So, you might come back at me and say, Joey, that’s probably because he’s trying to fit it into a bunch of tight windows. He’s making a bunch of really difficult throws. Well, he’s not. His tight window percentage 10.6%. six% lowest in the NFL. So he’s got the lowest completion percentage all while making the easiest throws across the National Football League because if you look at his open target percentage that’s 50.5% fourth highest and his wide openen target percentage is 27.8%. That is the fifth highest in the National Football League. And so no, Caleb Williams is not having that great of a year. just they can run the football at will against anybody they play and they just ask him to make some wide open throws and he can make them every now and if you can just make Caleb throw the ball against you, you will win this football game. He’s showing much better flashes of talent his second year than he was his rookie year, but he is still wildly inconsistent and you’ve got a chance. Take advantage of that. The good thing is it’s been phenomenal. 98.3 yards a game given up on the ground. Eighth best in the National Football League. Yards precarious in a 3.99 nine. That’s sixth best. And they only let up 25 rushes of 10 or more yards. That is fifth best. Now, it’s going to be really important to have Quay back for this game. At the current recording of this video, we are not sure whether he’s going to play in this one or not. I think because of the added mini buy of 10 days between this last game and this one, he’s going to be back. And if so, that’s going to be massive. But also, let’s not talk about linebackers. Let’s not talk about defensive line. I think that Evan Williams and Javon Bullard are going to have a big big impact in this one. And I’ll tell you why. Let’s throw it back to their last Friday game of Chicago against Phil. They were able to run the football at will. I already showed you that. Well, look who they did it against. Against a defensive tackle room for the Philadelphia Eagles with Jaylen Carter, who many people think is the best interior defensive lineman in football right now. Jordan Davis and Maro OA. A really, really good unit right there. They’ve been good all season long. Nico Dean is in there at linebacker as well. That wasn’t good enough to stop the run. And if that’s not good enough to stop the run with their interior, I don’t really know if anything is. What you’re going to need is aggressive and hard-hitting defensive backs to play a little bit out of their position and make sure they’re sure tacklers when they get there. Case in point, let’s talk Kyle Hill. Okay, pre-safety for the multiple Rs. When he played against Chicago, a game that they only had 96 rushing yards, he played 19 snaps on the defensive line at the line of scrimmage, 18 in the box, 24 on the slot. Now, I don’t think Jeff Hafley has near as much of a chess piece as the Baltimore Ravens do with Kyle Hamilton, but I do still believe that Javon Bullard can go kind of all over the place. So, bring him up to the defensive line, line him up inside the box, and just make sure he is key on getting Kyle Manungai or DeAndre Swift down. Who’s going to lead this team in tackles against Chicago? I’ve got a feeling. I know we just talked about linebackers not being as big of a deal in this game, even though they still are. I’ve got a feeling, Gage, it’s going to be Edan Cooper. That’s my guess. You give me your guess down below. We’re going to round some things out with the latest practice injury news. Yesterday, we had a ton of guys get back into the practice field or onto the practice field. Jaden Reed, December 12th is when he needs to be activated to make the active roster. Marshon Lloyd, Brentton Cox, Colin Oliver, they all got time on the practice field for the first time in a long time. And because they’re coming back from IR, when you practice for the first time, it opens up that 21-day practice window, which gives this team 21 days to put them on the active roster. And then if they’re not on the active roster by the end of those 21 days, then they’re on IR for the rest of the year. So Marshon Lloyd, Britt Cox, and Colin Oliver all have until December 22nd to be placed back on that active roster. And the good thing is is you might be getting healthy at the most perfect time. You’re going into the home stretch of this football game and you’re about to get back your wide receiver one Jaden Reed and three other really good pieces. One of them being a backup running back, the other two being really, really strong defenders who, yeah, they’re young.
