  1. If diabetes knew he requested a trade before the season, he wouldn’t have sat his fat ass on it for two months.

  2. Wherever he goes The Bucks better get a HAUL of talent and future first and second round picks for him. OKC proves that good drafting and a steady pace can come out on top

  3. Not gonna comment on the truth of what windy is saying but calling into a local Cleveland radio show the morning of this clippers mess is very funny to me

  4. No matter how much espn tries I don’t see the bucks sending him out midseason. It’s just so much harder to get the right value back than if you do it in the offseason. As much as they will try and do right by Giannis nailing the Giannis trade will determine the next decade plus of Bucks basketball. They know they can’t fuck it up and send him to the Knicks for a KAT version of the Luka trade

  5. Windhorst, Shams the Sham….all these people are utterly worthless….the hate they have for small markets is immeasurable….every time they open their mouths, vomit and garbage come spewing out

  6. If it’s true that’s super disappointing. The bucks have literally done absolutely everything to appease him while he continues with vague threats every single offseason which in turn has the bucks completing drastic moves.

Curry went through a little rebuild with the warriors and they won a title because of it. The off-season comments have now creeped into the regular season and unfortunately where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

  7. I think it’s time for Horst to go as well. We have been unable to draft a single playable player in over a decade. I don’t blame him for the Dame deal, i still liked the effort. But we are entering a new chapter and we need someone with the ability to draft.

  8. Going to echo what others have already said here — there is absolutely no way this information would not have been leaked *immediately* a few months ago when the Giannis/Knicks stuff first popped up (that he actually requested a trade vs it being an “exploratory conversation”, simply as a bargaining tool by the Knicks to get him at a “reduced” price.

Windy can’t walk past a fucking gum ball machine without his fat ass popping a quarter in, let alone possessing the self-control to not immediately spout this information off for two whole months.

  9. I believe that he’s never asked flat out to be traded.

I also believe that he said something to the effect of “please make trades to make this team competitive and a title contender or trade me to a team that is.” Which is totally reasonable.

  10. Cavs fan coming in peace

I know trading Giannis in division is extremely unlikely but do the cavs have anything the bucks would want? We have two tradable firsts and a swap i believe.

  11. I’m uneducated on how the caps work, but if he was traded wouldn’t it be similar to the situation in Milwaukee? Giannis and his salary, a bunch of supporting cast and no future draft picks? Certainly Milwaukee would clean some other team out of future picks to make the deal, Giannis would be in a similar situation, no?

Giannis has had his say on a lot of player and coaching decisions. At some point he has to start owning the results.

  12. You would straight up fail a journalism class if you sourced yourself in this way

  13. Everybody is talking about Giannis and Horst leaving. The real answer and last hope is to get rid of Doc…. He’s the problem. I know people don’t agree but healthy this is a playoff roster with the right coach.

  14. You don’t trade Giannis unless he leaves no choice. Maybe that happens. They will never get good value for him.

  15. I mean he did kind of back channel a trade request to Knicks in the offseason unless all of that story is untrue. Which is always possible in NBA rumor land.

I think he’s traded in the offseason unless things get really dire and he becomes petulant in Milwaukee. Which I don’t see happening. but I didn’t think Luka would get traded to L.A so who knows.

  16. The smart move was to keep Dame and let him recover and then trade Giannis this last off season for the biggest haul possible.

Just move on from the drama. Nobody wants to watch or be part of this garbage. Giannis is a annoying player because he is one of the lowest IQ players in the NBA. Like having a 10 year old make adult decisions.

  17. Duh. Everyone could see this coming. Keeping Lopez and Bobby when they traded for dame and then hiring Doc was the most obvious disaster waiting to happen but everyone gaslit themselves here. Take this as a lesson: No player is special and no player is going to sit there and watch you make bad decision after bad decision. Nobody is going to sit there and watch you trade for Kyle Kuzma and think “I just need to trust the process more.”

  18. It sucks but where these smoke there’s fire. This is differently language than this summer where it seemed more exploratory. If it ultimately is the Knicks there will have to be a 3rd team to get the bucks the compensation they are entitled to. the timing is also interesting as Dec 15 is when players who signed deals in the summer can start being traded…
