I cannot begin to express how happy I am that I no longer have to watch this dude pitch
What’s the contract?
He was the best, he was the worst
Cease always chokes when it matters. He’ll fit right in with the BJs.
7 years / $210 mil is a lot of money for a mediocre pitcher.
You will get 3 good seasons and 4 seasons where by the end you are begging they take him out of the rotation.
Ruined baseball
Ruining baseball. Why would anyone give a mediocre pitcher a boatload of $ for 7 years? I will miss our team beating him up though.
His inconsistency has never cease’d to amaze me. They might be Dylan with trouble there
And the Blue Jays will lose next season as well because Yamamoto took their soul.
I look at his stats and I have no fucking idea.
I think he blows out his arm next year

One of those guys you hear so much about how great their advanced stats and ball moisture ratio are but then he looks totally normal during games. I know Padres fans got a bit done with his hype too towards the end.
What is “cease mode?” Is that supposed to be like beast mode? Either way doesn’t make much sense

more like cease and desist worrying about your team’s payroll.
Juice was really not worth the squeeze in SD. Was always excited to see him pitch, he could just never close the deal consistently.
