Hey at least our expected power play was only 29th.
Don’t mean this to sound rude… at least we aren’t the Preds! Chin up all, the games have been tough to watch. Not because of the losses, but because of the lack of drive (.of most of the players, not all) when they don’t seem to care, it’s tough to watch the full game. So count me back in the “we got this, tusks up” tonight!
I don’t get how we can be 10th in 5v5 offense but then dead last in Power Play. It is baffling to me. It’s not that the team doesn’t have offensive skill. To me, that’s the most damning of the coaching.
And then you add the terrible goals saved above expected and it shows how rough the goaltending has been all around.
Woof. Amazing decline after a lava hot start. This team is finding out the dark side of regression to the mean. This roster is soooo much improved over the team that emigrated from AZ, its tough to see the struggle. I honestly don’t believe they are as bad as Nov looked, and they are solidly in the wildcard hunt. A hot streak is coming, and these stretches build a lot of team character.
