5. At least we scored one goal. That’s huge.

   It might not be as ethical as one might want, but that’s one heck of a tank performance.

13. As bad the Flames were tonight, Jon Abbot was worse. I don’t know how he climbed the ladder to the NHL level. My local Junior B play x play guy is twice the broadcaster Abbott is. Jon Abbott is dull, boring, awkward, and full of pregnant pauses. I get that he is a nice guy, but a good broadcaster he is not. At this point, I am listening to the radio call, which is around 10 seconds ahead of the tv, to avoid throwing anything within reach at it in response to Abbott’s limp handshake of a call.

18. Crazy how Huberdeau’s point total isn’t even a topic of conversation anymore. It’s just accepted he’s a 50 point guy now
