Is it just me, or does anybody else feel like the bell needs to be 4-6x bigger than it is? I feel like this tiny little bell on its weird metal arm thing is underwhelming.

  1. In fairness you want it to be easy to swing for anyone who might do it. It’s not always gonna be past pro players who do it. I big bell would be dope, but I like that it can be hand ring by anyone

  2. It’s a nautical bell that would typically be installed on the bridge of an old ship. They’re not throwing a 1200lb bell on a ship when it’s only used for simple communication.

  3. We need to put a real lighthouse there. And when we score the lights go out and it spins.

  4. Last time I heard anything about ol’ Willie was on TMZ attacking someone with a beer bottle.

  5. Huge bells have ropes that hang many feet below because they are so loud if you stand near them you will suffer hearing damage. See most belfry designs

  6. I mean I didn’t really care, just curious, but can you actually hear that thing from the other side of the stadium? I guess that’s all that really matters.. of it’s big enough to get the job done

  7. Doesn’t Willem Dafoe live in Maine? They could have him drink turpentine and dance a jig every time The Pats score.
