Score: 3.5 – .500 since last post, which doesn’t sound too bad, only to realize that last place teams in the eastern conference are .500… what a weird season where everyone is doing so well. These injuries and added anxiety of each game puts me at a 3.5, I’m hoping to bring it down soon though

  1. I like the optimism.

    My pain meter is quite a bit higher now. Our underlying metrics are like 26th in the nhl right now. Injuries keep making me sad. Im not confident we will win any game we play right now.

    We need a game that we win and we dominate. That would help me feel a lot better

  2. Idk how to put a number on what I’m feeling. It’s cautious optimism while fully acknowledging that things aren’t going great right now. Things aren’t near as bad as the asshat facebook doomers around here who only show up in game threads would make it seem, but they’re not great

  3. We’re floating by mainly on the strength of our strong start. If our bottom 6 can’t figure it out and our goaltending can’t stay consistent, it’s gonna be many more games like the week we just had

  4. Absolutely wild at 3.5, I’m at a soft 5 right now – we could be in the division basement in a few weeks time with how our schedule and the Devils have been looking.

  5. Seguin out and Bastian in for Dallas… that alone puts me at a 7 because we all know what happens next 😭😭

  7. I’m right around a 4. The cracks around the team (underperforming 4th line, shaky goaltending) are starting to expose themselves in losses. Hoping for a turnaround from some guys, because things can get rough really quick with the schedule coming up.

  8. I’m probably at like a 5 rn. I’m not pressing the panic button but the standings are getting tight and we got some tough opponents coming up. The forward depth is getting exposed and we’re still out Jack for another month at least and who knows when Kovy and Pesce are back. Caps just passed us in the standings and if we don’t figure something out we’ll be near the bottom of the division before long

  9. 4, people need to stop with the “we’re in third without our best player” LIKE THATS THE ISSUE! We shouldn’t need our best player to be able to Perform well, it’s a TEAM SPORT
