The offseason is really churning now with major signings and rumors seemingly daily, as the winter meetings fast approach this weekend. The Byron Buxton rumors of him being willing to waive his no-trade clause for Atlanta, among others, as well as Atlanta reportedly showing interest at the trade deadline are easy to connect the dots as a potential exciting move for a bat this offseason. The Braves also have a few million dollars in slot money at stake in the draft lottery next Monday. The pitching market is also moving, so that’s something to keep an eye on for Atlanta.
