Capitals vs. Sharks | NHL Highlights | December 03, 2025
for the third time twice, of course, last year in
Morski’s first year behind the bench. This is the third year that Carbury has been the head coach
of the Capitals. We are underway. Also scratched just ahead of the game. Here’s a twoon one.
Mcichael for Washington to Wilson and a save by Asterov as the sizzling hot Tom Wilson gets a
great a chance on an oddman run. Ahead. San Jose Sharks get caught a little bit too deep in the
zone. And it’s only a few feet and this is what Washington can do. And what a shot. Trevor Van
Reike leaves it. Now it’s played by Mcichael to the defenseman. Prot’s shot that was blocked in
front. Might have hit Wilson. Not sure if Baserov got it. Early work here, Drew. And this is what
the Washington Capitals do where they get five men rolling in that def in that offensive zone.
You got to try to fight off their traffic in the middle. And right from the net, big Tom Wilson
from saved by Lindred. And here come the Caps and a break. Anthony Boilier in saved by Ascarov.
Back again. Line and Boilier’s off. He got a goal last night. Comes in Ascarov. Look how far Asgro
is. Now Celbrini that’s blocked by Farberry. Smith back from Lenberg. Clingberg. Celbrini. The catch,
the move, the shot. And Lindren got the blocker up on that. It was labeled top corner. His success
rate on zone entries is amazing. Here he gets the chance. He fakes like he’s going past and he
wants to go short side. Back to Weberg. He’ll rim high to this side with awaiting celebrating.
Pressure from Nick Town. Macklin on the back end. Ekan the drive. The save by Lindren. Couldn’t
get that third shot on net, but he’ll get a look here. Traide. Oh, Lindred. What a save there off
of Barkley. Good row. Good help to get that. And after that, because he won the draw, this flurry
starts. And check out the traffic in front. He’s almost able to one time that, but he’s keeps it
in. Ouchin on the ice as Roy coast down the wing. There’s an Ascarov save and another one back
to the net and Ovkin scores on the rebound. 13th goal of the year. Just a big flurry
by the net. Just a simple shot to the net. Rebounds there. Sharks have it for a second but
can’t clear it. And I think it’s Roy who when he when the puck comes back out, he gets
back to position. Yeah, right there. So, as the defenseman coming in, he gets back
to position after the original shot. just bangs it towards the net and Alex Ouchkin is
able to get the goal. Yaruslav Ascarov doing everything. Puck was just bouncing all over the
place. Career goal 900. Alexander Ouchkin broke Wayne Gretzky’s record of 894 back in April.
Here’s Van Reike for Washington. Chisum with a chance. They score. Milano finishing
it off. Two quick ones for Washington. keep moving puck away from traffic, right? They
get the puck back to the point. You talked about their offensive defenseman. Come in, get the
chance on net, and they just keep firing away. One, two bodies in front, but then everybody’s
worried about the guy in front. Here comes Milano. Smart timing by Milano. You again have there. A
really good play by in the crease. He is in the blue paint. He’s not getting pushed in there by
Barkley. Good row. He’s definitely interfered. Look at Ascarov. Tries to get across it. After
video review, it’s determined that there was no goalender interference. We have a good call on
the ice. And Wilson lost it there. Now a race to the puck. Should have been an interference
call there, but Graph gets to it anyway. Across and the save made by Lindren. Off to Landrea.
Brandon Du Hayes, former Minnesota Wild player. He’s got it back to the point and Remsteike
saved by Astro. Rebound they score again. Ryan Leonard and it’s three nothing
Washington. Rebound opportunity and it is again nice job on the for check. Leonard
gets in there first and the guy gets in front. There’s another with more contact on Ascarov
and then Leonard scoops up the rebound, gets in, throws a good nice little elbow on Iorio.
The shot comes to the point and Leonard after getting to the puck first. First touch on
the forche. So important. He works back to the front. Iorio doesn’t recover. There is a little
bit of contact again. And then Leonard Smart, he holds on for a second. Shark’s
second power play of the period at the front of the net. A shot there. Ling got
that one. He did. That one didn’t hit the post. Will Smith going to be shaking his head back up
the ice after that stop by Charlie Ling. Sharks have got two posts and a great save by Ling. Now
Eklan goes back in. Clingbird slides it across. Macklin with it. hits for will try and peel away
from Raasmus Sandine. Celibbrini Clingberg waiting on Alam and now he’s in trouble. Clingberg and
here’s Prous in a lone shorthanded drops it. They score. Brandon Du a shorthanded goal. It’s
a fourgoal first period for the visitors. Make quicker decisions at the line, but on this one
as well. Come back, come back, come back. You got to keep skating on that comeback. You got to keep
skating. You can’t stop skating in this situation when you’re that we saw it last game. Ylav Ascarov
is coming out of the game right now on that back check. You’ve got to keep skating. You can’t
be gliding. You can’t stop moving your feet. And the first say this is a really
nice play. Look how he checks over his shoulder. Really nice check over the shoulder. But Chickan gives to the rookie Leonard a shot
with glove hand high. See him pull that in a little bit. Did you change the angle of
the shot? Wilson for chicken. Stros net front. That one’s knocked down. Leonard bumps
it across and they score. It’s Ovkin again. Well, certainly not the way you wanted
to start off the period without a doubt. Really smart by Leonard. Puck’s going to
go towards the net and gets blocked. And look at how Leonard just bumps that over. Very
smart play by the young man and Alex Ovetkin. That’s much like Will Smith setting up on that
side when Min Cellrini’s got the puck and the mask. Leonard up top. Roy shot wide. Back to Roy
and now to Chron. Leonard on the wing. Across. They score. Matt Roy. A beautiful passing
play by Washington. They got a sixth goal. That was a beautiful passing play and you cannot
leave that much of a seam wide open. They knew that was going in. I think Dylan Stro might have
tipped this as he’s in front. Do a push off. Looks like it. Yeah, heard it as a matter of fact.
One touch pass across and a quick shot and yeah, there it is. Just a tip and it just rises over
the glove. You see where the Belovich glove was. Continue to get it done. Here’s Ryan
Leonard. He’s got a three-point game going and he walks in and scores. Wow, what
an individual effort by rookie Ryan Leonard. come in with speed and that move through the legs, picks it
up with his skate, fights off the check, and goes backand up top. Now, this is also kind
of the new NHL. Timothy Lilligrin is playing puck, puck, puck the whole time. Back in the day,
not too long ago, you would just you wouldn’t want your defenseman to turn there. You just
want to make sure you got a ton of assistant shots. And they’ll get one here. And Lindren
responding with a save off God. Just couldn’t pass from the scrum in front to Lindren flashing
the left hand out. Makes a spectacular save there. Clingberg and his stick betrays him. A
threeon one back the other way. Frank a shot, save, rebound and the Delulkovic has it. William going to work. There’s a shot and
a rebound. Grab denied by Lindren. Joy’s having a night. Three assists.
Here’s a breakaway for Conor Mcichael and the Dulkovich with a glove save.
Comes right out right away. Mcichael with the stick check. Nice little poke
check and then he just off the races. He can fly. Good skater comes in going glove
but carries it back into Sharks territory to Foley and now God winds up and scores. Dimmitri Orlov his first goal as a shark that’ll
ruin Lindren’s shut out bid and it’s 71. Watch I think it’s gone going to the net. So the
big shot I’m sorry. No doesn’t touch him. Puck is in before. No that’s a goal. Good for
Dimmitri. Puck is in before the contact is made. I like the screen. I like where it gets setting
up. That’s a beautiful screen. A little bit of a flash or a drive by screen here. It’s It’s
really close. It’s really quick. It’s almost instantaneous puck by and then there’s the regenda
contact, but no contact is made until the puck is by. Yeah, that’s the best look at it. The angle
behind it. And this is going to be the call now. Yeah. After video review is determined that
there is no goalender interference. The big goal Washington test day and learning from
days like this because mama said there’d be days like this and she was right. And that’s
the end of this one as the Washington Capitals

Михалыч – Л Е Г Е Н Д А🎉
Wow! The Capitals absolutely crushed this game and I'll give the Sharks credit for at least getting on the board.
What a rout!
at least our retro jerseys looked sick …
Молодцы .Хорошо играли ,красиво забивали ,короче ,порадовали нас и игрой ,и результатом .А Овечкин уверенно, stap by stap ,приближается к отметке 1000 шайб .
Regenda second game, second goal ❤
Протас реально повзрослел!
Зачем идти на вратаря, если сзади свободный игрок. Молодец.
Like I said earlier in November that the Caps are the team to beat this year.
Mama said there will be days like this
Unbelievable hockey to watch
