Keaton Verhoeff isn’t a bad choice either. Isn’t McKenna kinda floundering in NCAA? I heard he’s been picked apart and shut down by semi-pros.
It’s a good year to suck. And Vegas hasn’t been looking great lately, would be nice if they slid down to the middle of the pack somewhere to improve our second 1st rounder.
#1 overall is our Cup final.

McKenna isn’t a consensus #1 anymore. At least Sam Cosentino (whose opinion I value a great deal for prospects) and Jason Bukala (who is a former head scout for the Panthers and runs an independent scouting service [pro hockey group] that elite prospects and puckpedia use for their scouting info) now have McKenna at #2 now behind Keaton Verhoeff.
The top centerman (which I still believe is out biggest need), is ranked #5 on Bukala’s rankings that came out Monday, and that is Caleb Malhotra. He has Tynan Lawrence dropping to 7. They’re the only centermen he has in the top 15.
