I painted these guys during a watercolor tutorial years ago.
Originally they were supposed to look the same — but I made one rainbow-bright and the other classic black and white.
Their vibe became:
Colorful one → “you’re so dull.”
Monochrome one → “you’re so much.”
Just penguins doing relationship things. 🐧

Honestly love the wholesome penguins content alongside the hockey talk. This is such a good painting! Would actually be sick if the subreddit had the occasional fundraiser or awareness days for penguin conservation
First things first, this is a beautiful piece that made me smile this morning so thanks for that!
Secondly, it’s one of my absolute favorite things when every few weeks or so a non-hockey related actual penguin post is posted to this sub. It’s always so wholesome because penguins rule.
