Man I love this team. Spurs truly feels like a family. I feel bad for CP3 the way his career ended with the clippers, but looking back I’m glad he played for us, and our young players had the opportunity to learn from him.
Man clippers did him dirty. We showed him so much love here. I honestly think he would have stayed here longer but the truth is we wanted to play for pop not the spurs.
I was so happy for him and loved the vibes our guys brought with this small ceremony for him. But given the recent event that’s happened to him and re-watching this video and noticing for the first time his voice breaking because emotions were welling up for this small nicety…he deserved a better farewell at the team he played even longer.
Damn Chris Paul would be such a great coach, surely head coach for me

Never was a a big fan of his till he became a spur. But he grew on me. Love u cp3
Made me tear up, spurs did a great job making him feel special, sucks to hear he got released by clippers in a tribute season to them, I wish there was a way for him to rejoin the spurs so we could give him a proper last season no matter his minutes he’d for sure feel the specialness from the spurs community
