I don’t know what people expect out of a basketball shoe. Obviously the Reebok Question 1 and Answer 1s, 3s, and 4s were iconic. But the rest of Iverson’s signatures shoes are ugly as sin.
Tatum’s signature shoe with Nike is hideous. The Curry 10s fro UA look like nursing shoes. I’m in my (early) 40s, I am not the target demo for this stuff. I do not hoop. I don’t expect signature shoes to appeal to me. I’m not wearing JE1s out to dinner, but they look fine for what they are.
