Seguin Is DONE For The Year — Who Do The Stars Go After Now?? Ft. TSN’s Noodles | FN Barn Burner

Here’s a good question. I think if this is true, well enough. This is a Sega and out for the year and if you’re Jim nil, how are you treating that? Who are you going after? Like cap space. You’ve got cap space and I think that’s cap space that can be better used than on Tyler. So, okay. So, have we established I see what your shirt is there. Have we established and I think it’s a good question. Have we established in your mind are there four or five teams that have a storefront that says open for business right now? They should to sell or to buy to sell. They have for Jim Neil to go shopping and walking in and go give me Jordan Cyro. Give me St. Louis. Calgary should be in there. I don’t know if they are in there. I think they are in there. They’re just not admitting it. Nashville. I’d have to look out. So Vancouver’s already put the sign up. That’s okay. So there there there you go. That’s your selling that. So I let’s I think the teams from Florida up still believe they’re there and 500 and up. Yeah, I agree. Fine. Four at the bottom. Then St. Louis Van Nashville, Calgary. So then if you’ve got the storefront and you’re gymn and looking for I mean Sean’s actually played quite well for them. Like I watched him the other day and he seems to have had a bit of a resurgence. Is he 33 years old? So is it Maraso? Is it Stam Coast? Those guys have term. I I’d be looking at maybe somebody that you could use as a rental one year. Yeah, because they got to deal with Roberts in the summer anyway. You probably don’t want to start eating next year’s cap. So it’s it’s guys on the last year of their deal or somebody you believe that you could flip, you know, in the offseason or something like that. So then you know who are you looking at? Kefir Sherwood. I was just going to say Sherwood. But it it’s is Sherwood having one of those years. Two of them. So what? Go ahead and have that year as long as you’re on my team. And wait, I don’t know. You still got another five million to spend elsewhere out of Ben’s money. Like that’s what I’m saying. Like if I just if if you what what Sherwood are you getting? the one that was in Nashville who’s, you know, hardworking and or J a G just a guy or is like that’s the thing he that’s the but to your point he doesn’t make a lot so you might be able to get him and you would for sure to a combination here’s here’s like Ryan O’Reilly somebody like that who who can be versatile for you like I looked at that Dallas team has a really good mix of old and knew, right? Because Wyatt Johnston’s a rock star and he’s a kid. Maverick Bourc is a really good young player. You know, they’re missing two or three D Harley and and Bashelle. That’s a I that was during my game the other day. It looked like he broke his broke his ankle or leg or whatever it was like. But they’ve got they’ve got depth in all positions. And if you look at it, they’ve got older which was the Seagans and Matt’s not even playing yet. He’s coming back like you know and then the Jamie Benz and then you go into the Rupe Hint’s Rantonin who are in the the late 20s and then you’ve got the early 20s. So you can go and get a Sherwood, you can go and get a Ryan O’Reilly who would fit in. Um I’m just saying Ryan O’Reilly because I think he’s a versatile. maybe Braden Shed, somebody like that, you know, that can play center or the wing, can give you some goals, but also give you some leadership and has has won and been there before. Uh, and and like you say, you’ve got the luxury of cap space and prospects and picks to go and add to your group. So, I, you know, if you’re looking at that, I I think that’s where you have to be shopping. If you’re looking at Calgary, maybe a guy like Blake Coleman, I don’t know. I I I think he’s a very nice He’s from Texas. That would be a lovely fit. Yep. From Plano, Texas. So, uh you know, I I think those are the that’s where you’re calling those managers and seeing if it’s not a King’s ransom to get him out of there. Uh yeah, Sherwood only makes one and a half. So, even if you did Adam, you got 8 million bucks to play with if you’re if if we know that Sigan’s done for the year. It’s an ACL surgery, so it’s long term, but maybe they pull the Barov thing where like, well, maybe he’ll be ready in spring. We’re not going to put him on LTI or whatever. So, Right. Right. All right, we’ll see. Hey buddies, thanks for watching. We appreciate it. Also, if you could throw in a like and subscribe, it does help us out with what it is we are doing. Boomer, Pinder & Rhett are joined by TSN’s Noodles as they react to the news that Tyler Seguin is out for the year. With a massive hole now in the Stars’ lineup — and a big chunk of cap space suddenly available — the guys debate who Dallas could realistically target to replace him. Could they look at someone like Kiefer Sherwood, Steven Stamkos, Blake Coleman, or even Ryan O’Reilly? Plenty of intriguing names are out there, and the possibilities get interesting fast.

  1. Brutal blow to Dallas. Seguin plays C (not wing at all outside of 'in a pinch, no ? ) so dont know about replacing w any winger. TS a big cap-hit, and Dallas lacking major options w/o 1st in '26 or '28. Missing 1 or 2 2nds as well in there. Brutally bad break for Dallas, how to not create other holes in lineup filling that one ?

  2. Flames are a complete disaster. Instead of cleaning house can you please tell me what they doing? They could’ve brought in bad contracts and draft picks for last 2 years but are complete disaster missing playoffs every year .
