The narrative and story behind this game was crazy. Our first playoff appearance in 8-9 years, and our first playoff win in over 3 decades against the team that left Jared Goff for dead against the QB they traded him for. This game is definitely cemented in lions history forever
The 2023 lions were legendary. I still remember this game like it was yesterday. This was a legacy game for Goff for sure.

I got jumpscared by NFCCG highlights a few days ago and almost wept at the memory of my first half feeling. I loved the 2023 team and will never get over the pain at the end of that season
30 minutes. We were 30 minutes away…
Defense was mid but still found ways to get off the field
Goff taking that knee, man. What a fucking moment.
Script writers couldn’t have written it any better for that game. So good.
I might get hate for this but there’s almost no quarterback I would rather have than Jared Goff
Going to this game was honestly one of the best days of my life.
I was at that NFCCG…….it still stings…..especially when my credit card bill comes
2023 and 2024 were the most fun and most connected to the team that I have ever felt. Regardless of the end results, every week felt like a new episode to an amazing series.
And sadly, that was their year… and now here we are with a magnitude of injuries and speed bumps to work out.
The Rams still said “fuck them picks” and look where they’re at now. Brad Holmes needs to trade draft capital and bring in a star next season.
Are we already reminiscing about “when the Lions were good”?
This was our year and we blew it.
Down vote me I don’t care.
The year we we lost to San Francisco was THE year. Shouldn’t have gone for it on 4th. Nobody was injured that year. Campbell touched the sun and we still taking hits since
What a moment as a fan. Lions can get to this level again and more I know it. Right now we simply don’t have the oline for this type of play. 3rd and 4th downs were almost always a win, this season not so much
Most fun month of football of my life Michigan just got done winning the natty and the lions won two playoff games both things I have never seen my life when the lions were up against San Fran I really thought we were going to the Super Bowl
I went to this game and the energy was electric from the moment you could see Ford Field. There was something in the air and every single person in that stadium was ready to experience it. Unforgettable.
Making it to NFCCG was pretty legendary but 2024 is when we had an unreal regular season and lost only 2 games despite being by far the most banged up defense in the league. Undefeated on the road. Set lots of franchise records that may not be broken for a long time.
I know 2023 is when we were inches from going to the Super Bowl, but overall, 2024 was the stronger season
This was our peak. It felt like the dawning of a new era but in reality that was the best it was ever going to get.
So many of us cried this night. People of all ages and walks of life, literally WEEPING with joy that our Lions won a SINGLE playoff game. If we can’t turn it around with this regime and compete for a superbowl again I will literally be dead inside.
I will never get tired of Detroit Lions edits with Rihanna background vocals.
