"According to our reliable, but unofficial information, our basketball player Luka Dončić has become a father for the second time. The 26-year-old, who is said to have arrived in Slovenia yesterday, and his fiancée Anamaria Goltes are said to be happy with their daughter, making Gabriela an older sister."

  1. For all commenting just like Kobe, here’s a fun fact, men who are more athletic, statistically have a higher chance of having female children than males

  2. Hopefully, it will give him more hope to request a trade outside of the lakers, maybe to go hang out with jokic in denver

  3. I get the sentimental value of giving birth in your home country, but their lives are in the U.S. for the next 15 years at least. Their kids will probably grow up there, go to school there, maybe even college. That’s why I don’t understand choosing Slovenia — if the baby were born in the U.S., she would’ve automatically had dual citizenship. It feels like they passed up a huge benefit for no real downside.

  4. To everyone wondering why the Doncic’s who live in the US chose to bring their child into this world back in Slovenia when there is no leagal reason to do so… that’s just how shit US healthcare is compared to Europe.

  5. MANY, MANY Congrats to Luka & family! So happy for them! Sending blessings, love & prayers to all!

  6. Congrats to Luka!

Y’all aren’t ready for dad Luka.

After the birth of his first daughter, he went om to average 37/10/11 for a whole two months!

  7. I think everyone is thinking way too deep about citizenship and why Slovenia. It’s much simpler. In Dallas, they had lived there for years and had enough of a support system to raise a kid but they literally just got to LA and while Luka gets his teammates/coaches to hang with on a daily basis, I don’t think they know enough people to be part of a close community yet. Makes a lot more sense for his fiancee to be in Slovenia where her family (and Luka’s) can help raise the older kid as well as the newborn while Luka practically lives in the Lakers training facility all day and heads to Crypto immediately after most days or is on road trips. That family support system is much stronger in Slovenia.

  8. Luka looked really stressed out after the Phoenix loss. I started thinking crazy Lakers fans thoughts about “was he unhappy?” etc.

I’m glad it’s good news for him. Congratulations!
