Although this doesn’t fix all our problems. It would fix our front court and add more size
this would definitely fix a ton of our problems, one of the best rebounders itl, great screen and roll man who can also protect the basket well. just would have to stagger him and draymond due to the lack of spacing.
This is a more reasonable prospect than trying to get Giannis which is a pipedream. The Clippers would ask for a ransom though since their future pick situation is so bleak.
Zubac would be great. Didnt know he was under JK salary too! I doubt the Clips are willing to part with him tho
Between Horford, post, TJD, and dray, I don’t think center is the position of need, as much as reliable scoring and athleticism at the wing/POA defense is.
Like I would rather Monk + Keon, or TMIII if we are throwing in picks. Or maybe once giannis gets dealt, we can jump in to help facilitate and grab Mikal bridges or Andrew Wiggins or something as the 3rd team sending JK and picks to Milwaukee
I like this idea… but the only thing is would he be in crunch time in a playoff series? Steph, Melt/Moody, Jimmy, Dray, Zu?? unlikely that’s who we close with. So if we give up JK for a competent big for regular season we lose out on opportunity cost of a closing 2/3/4 guard/wing. Steph – Melt/moody – (JK’s contract) – Jimmy – Dray.

At this point, I think the Grizzlies would trade Ja for Kuminga and Podz. Ja’s nothing but trouble, but if anyone can straighten him out its Dray/Jimmy/Steph.

Yea the other thing is how this unlocks both Jimmy and stephs game even more, particularly jimmy’s with the bam/jimmy duo, how it would open his midrange game. That also happened for a few games if you can recolect the trayce jackson/jimmy pnr in last years playoffs.
