Lou Williams & Boogie breaks BLOCKBUSTER TRADE send Giannis to Lakers after he crubs social media

All right, so got to address the uh the other elephant in the room. So we know that the Bucks lost to the Wizards the other night. We talked about it. But after that, Giannis scrubbed. Oh, you love a good social media scrub. His account basically of most things Bucks related minus a few NBA Cup posts and a couple of NBA uh situations there. Chandler, I’m going to start with you cuz I love a passive aggressive crash out. We’ll start with you because you’ve definitely done this before. Oh, no. I never post pictures of the person in the first place so I don’t have to erase it later. Duh. 101. All right, fine. I’m a victim of doing this. This is a classic scrubbing your ex from from your life from social media. You know, you don’t although it’s known, you don’t really want the next one to see it or to be able to go back and and and and scroll through. So, is it petty? Yes. Is it something here? We don’t know. But if it is something, it’s not good. Like, it’s definitely it’s definitely not a good thing that he’s going back and leaning. And again, I think we’re over analyzing this now. We’re digging into someone’s social media, which is weird. And but this is what you do in 2025, but it’s not good. And it’s not it’s clearly a problem. Clearly, there’s frustration. And look, there should be there’s there was somewhat expectations for from this team for this team. And they’re 9 and 13 and they’re coming off a horrible loss against the Wizards and now they’re back home and have the Pistons tonight. The number one seed in the East. So, I think it’s not going to get easier for this team. There’s going to all the trade rumors are going to continue to get louder for this guy because teams will line up at the door and throw the kitchen sink to get Giannis on their team. And they know right now is the time to pounce there. Right now is the time that they are desperate. Right now they’re having, you know, front office meetings of listen, do we do we do we completely rebuild? Is he going to ask for a trade? Is he going to force our hand? He’s kind of done everything for this city and this franchise. So he kind of has him by the balls right now. And so this is just a bad situation where your star player and your all world everything is frustrating and scrubbing his social media. It’s funny to say and petty, but it’s definitely not a good thing that he did this. Yeah. I don’t think I needed, you know, him to scrub his Instagram for me to figure out he wants to be moved. Uh I think it’s just time. Um this isn’t a great season. They didn’t put a good roster around them. It’s not really much to look forward to, you know, moving forward. So, u I think it’s time for a perfect breakup. I think it’s a situation where, you know, um we’re better off, you know, alone in this situation to where the Bucks moving forward will obviously start their rebuild and, you know, they’ll they’ll start moving into a fresh start. And the same thing will happen with Giannis with whatever his next move is. So, uh I think it’s best for both sides. I think it’s it’s just time. Um, you know, Giannis is a superstar player in this league. Every every season is a championship, a buzz type season for him cuz his talent is that high that and he’s that much of a uh he has that much impact on games to where, like I said, they’re competing for a championship every single season. So, um, you know, that’s not the situation here in Milwaukee. And I’m sure he’s looking for his next to figure out where he can win another one. You know what, y’all? Let me play devil’s advocate. What if he just what if he generally just scrubbed his Instagram and those posts happened to be part of the scrub? Like I all of us can agree that we’ve all like deleted a bunch of stuff off our in off our social media at some point and like caught up in it. No no tripping. No tripping. All right. Well, I tried. Hold on. 2021 it went back. By the way, he went back to 2021. He’s not the dude He’s not the dude like taking taking sleeping pills getting lit like just doing this like this is a sober this is a sober premeditated move where he is scrubbing pictures of his current team. It’s definitely not Yeah. Oh no doubt. But you know what with that with that being said outside of that we haven’t heard him have very much to say when it comes to the Milwaukee Bucks and what’s going on. He’s allowed the powers to be to deal with this behind the scenes. He’s allowed his representation to speak directly with the representation of the team. And that’s where these narratives are coming from. We know how the media works. Every from Giannis side, they’re going to plant their stories to make it look good for him. And the Milwaukee Bucks, they’re going to start planting their stories to make it look good for them. Classic breakup story. Classic. Everybody’s going through it. So, we’re trying to Everybody’s trying to protect their best interest right now. But you know what I said about John Morant? Don’t play these things out in the public. You’ll never win that argument. You’ll never win that war when it comes to the media. So, I like what Giannis is doing. Allow the narratives to be the narratives. Continue to play basketball. Do everything that you need to be. Be be the the the role model that you are, everything that you represent, and just stay quiet and let everything play out. Okay, but hold on because now I have to push back a little bit as a fan, right? like if is there much of a difference between Giannis coming out and saying I would like to be traded kindly uh or passive aggressively just sort of scrubbing all things related to the team for which I cheer like I I kind of feel like I but like that’s something that’s a Easter egg for y’all to find like we talking about him going back to 2021 like who who’s the who went back to 2021 and saw who who realized that it was nobody like us it was but we always find out like this is not the first nor be the last. You think you think Giannis put up a post that said, “Hey, check out my new scrubbed Instagram of everything outside.” No, that’s the passive aggressive saying, “Hey, look, he unfollowed this person. Let me see what else I can find.” Like, I I don’t put much stock into the world. It’s the world we live in now, unfortunately, where that matters. Like, if you were to follow the Knicks, if you were to follow the Knicks right now, it would break the internet, Lou, which is pathetic, but it’s true. Yeah, but you don’t. But but you don’t and only certain people tell you what’s going on with those type of scenarios. I don’t care. Like I’m not yelling at Giannis. Like which one of us is going back three years in in Giannis Instagram to see what he’s what he still got on his page? None of us. None of us. But there are people who cover the team for a living who realize the cloud that’s lingering. So you’re on for a living. Those are the people I’m talking about. That’s what they supposed to do. Not your not the fan ain’t a Milwaukee Bucks fan ain’t doing this if I know that my star player I don’t know dude if I know my star player is probably going to leave here soon and I’m on high alert but a season ticket holder ain’t sitting at home looking at Instagram trying to find ways to see what’s going on I got I got to answer your question I don’t think there’s a win situation for him if he asks for a trade he’s going to be bad guy if he does this we’re going to be thinking He’s petty and passive aggressive. So, there’s really there’s really no way to play this besides have your agent continue to do what he does and you play and put up the numbers you’re playing and do everything you can and leave it on the floor. That’s how you kind of get out of this situation and let the chips fall as they may. But there’s really no proper way to ask to get out of a horrible situation. No, but the good news is now we get to play Destination Dreams. Um, look, before anybody gets on us about trades and what can and cannot happen, just shut it. let us live cuz we’re going to have some fun here trying to figure out where he goes next. Uh Michelle Denise Beetle obviously had the New York Knicks two years ago on this list, Lou. But let’s talk about this. Um we know we’re not going to get into the the specifics. We know he loves New York. So maybe you get a OG Bridges some picks. I don’t know. Maybe we go as far as Cat. I can’t even fathom that right now. But to see him in that uniform in that building 40 plus games a season, how are we feeling about that? It sounds great for the Knicks, you know, on the on the other side. Like, if you’re Milwaukee, you got to bring me back a you got to bring me back a top 10 guy. Like, you got to bring me back some pieces that make sense for my fan base where I can be able to look at them in the face and and justify moving him. It It can’t just be um really good role players and some draft picks. Like, you got to bring me back somebody that this makes sense. You know, look at Dame Little exits last year. Then you possibly have Giannis as well. And we talking about a league full of star power. And we’re talking about a fan base that’s they’ve they’ve drank the Kool-Aid already. They’ve already won a championship. They know what this looks like. You can’t just bring in really really good role players. You got to bring me a star back. You got to bring me a top five, top 75 guy back for somebody who’s uh been in the MVP conversation for as long as we can remember in his career. So for the for the New York Knicks, it sounds amazing. What does it look like for the Milwaukee Bucks? So with that, I don’t I don’t know if this works. So we’re not tempted by Cat. Okay, go ahead, Boogie. Couldn’t agree more. Um I mean, Lou hit it on the head for for the Knicks. It’s It’s exciting. I think the Garden will be rocking. Uh it’ll be the you know, I think it’ll be a hot spot for a lot of, you know, free agents and role players to try to get there and, you know, fill out those spots. So, uh, I think it will be great for the Knicks, but obviously for Milwaukee, I don’t see much of a return. I mean, obviously you’ll get picks back, but I mean that’s not really equivalent to what you’re losing in that situation and losing Giannis. So, um, I mean, yeah, it would be great for the Knicks. It would be exciting. I would actually love to see, you know, a Giannis and Bronson combo. I think it would be great New York basketball. But so we could send Cat to Milwaukee. Plus, I mean, listen, if you look at those three teams, the Knicks, the Warriors, the Lakers, I think the Knicks have the most attractive pieces to get back. And well, again, before we go and do this, we’re just playing a game and and but remember what Desmond Bane just brought in. Remember what Rudy go trade. So yes, teams are going to live and learn and but it’s going to take a lot to get Giannis. So when you look at the Knicks, whatever situation is, it’s got to be picks. But if I’m a team, if I’m the Bucks, I want two or three starters back for this guy, which I think the Knicks could do more so than the Warriors. And I want one with and I want one of them to have a bunch of allstar patches, too, on you know, and throw in an assistant coach and and a trainer when his trainer car. You know what? And you know damn well his brother’s coming, too. So save a roster spot for him. So it’s gonna take three rough spots. You need three There’s probably another one we don’t even know about that’s also gonna need a a two-way Hell yeah. It needs I think it’d be great for the league. I think it would be great for Giannis, it would be spectacular for the Knicks. And if you compare Giannis and Jaylen Brunson, by the way, I just want to know how that call goes. Like, do the Bucks even ask for Jaylen Brunson or they know he’s because I would start with him. I would start with him and then and then say and maybe but that’s not happening. So then you got you look to you know Bridges Cat OG Deuce a guy like Jordan Clarkson like there are some attractive assets there for the Bucks to kind of not go through a full rebuild if they do this but it’s going to take a lot of future picks. It’s going to take a lot to get a guy like really really really good players really really good role players that you just named. But if I’m the Milwaukee Bucks fan base, are we getting excited about that about that crop of guys replacing Giannis, though? No interest in cat. Cat doesn’t move the needle for you. I didn’t seem to. I mentioned it three times. I’m I’m thinking of I’m thinking of of public fanfare. This feels good for us to move on. Look, if you bring in anything less than Giannis level, I think you have a revolt with the fan base. But Giannis level is like four dudes. Like they’re not going That’s what I’m trying to That’s what I’m trying to tell you. But can I can I play the devil’s advocate again as the fan? Having been a a fan of a team that lost someone for nothing basically. That’s the other fear. As you get closer and closer to when he can leave, you’re going to lose him for nothing. So I I also don’t want that to happen. So okay, what about like a team like San Antonio or Houston with more young assets that could become stars? Do you like something like that better than conversation? Now we having a different That’s a different conversation. Absolutely. So at least the future can be bright there. Right now you know what you’re getting. You know you’re going to be middle of the pack team. You bring on a bridges an OG, a cat, whatever. But now you you throw in Jabari Smith and you throw in, you know, these Thompson and you throw in you throw in your Thompson. Yeah. To your point, Chandler, you got to throw in at least one guy that this organization and fan base can look at and say possibly in two or three years we might be back on. If you don’t know works by anybody, give me like get put Stefan Castle in that deal. I think that gets Milwaukee going a little bit like you know what I mean? Put put a star like that in the making where there’s something to look forward to and meanwhile can get enough to still stay afloat and win games. Then I think Milwaukee is on to something. But it’s going to take a boatload. Okay. So that’s interesting because those are obviously teams that are realistically we could think about as well. But then you’ve got the teams that always sort of seem to chase the big guys. And I’m looking at you Lakers because we, you know, they they do this. They pulled a monster trade off last time and brought in a superstar. Um, so let me ask you this. If you figured out a way, and again, reality doesn’t have to play a huge part in this, but if you could figure out a way to bring Giannis here, Boogie, I I don’t even know how many guys you give up from the Lakers. What does that look like? and who mean you putting Giannis next to you know Luca that’s that that’s scary that’s that’s a scary that’s a that’s a a matchup nightmare on a nightly basis um you know but my question would be was you know who would be giving up obviously a guy like you know Austin Reeves name would pop up but um I think it kind of goes back to the same kind of you know conversation is that enough and uh yeah Austin Reeves is playing at a high level. He has a great chance of making his first All-Star this year. But, you know, from a Milwaukee, you know, fan base, is that enough? And, uh, you know, with just that alone, obviously, you’ll get, you know, throw some picks in, you know, guys like KG, maybe Ruie, but, uh, I don’t know if that’s enough either. Um, I think it is. I think it’s better than any other, you know, situation. I mean, with the Knicks, uh, obviously Golden State said, I think that’s the best situation, but I still just don’t know if that’s enough, man. I disagree. I think if if the Blakers and Warriors have nothing that I want in return for for Giannis, yes, Austin Reeves would be good, then you look at the Warriors, maybe like a Kaminga and a bunch of picks and stuff, but like that’s I’d rather I’d rather Cat. I’d rather that all-star caliber player you’re talking about and then Bridges and someone like that than than a, you know, Austin Reeves who’s having a great year and but I just it’s physically impossible for the Lakers. So, but we’re just playing a game here. I just don’t see it. I don’t I don’t see the the pieces coming back to be enough to to equal Giannis. Obviously, Austin Reeds would have to be in that trade. But what you you gonna put LeBron like you gonna put LeBron to I don’t I don’t even know how this is. Even say out loud. Yeah. Funny, but I just don’t I just don’t see this happening. I really don’t. No, the the the younger teams I feel like seem like a more realistic destination. The younger ones are the sexier ones because you can you can still win and compete and make playoffs while the future is bright and you’re grooming your next franchise star. So like the Warriors, the the Lakers, the Knicks, it’s all just like a lateral move to stay afloat. You need pieces to excite you and the fan base. Yeah, I like the San Antonio of that all. Thank you. Uh taking a quick break. We got more to talk about on the other

  1. If Lebron had done the decent thing and got out of the way last season, Giannis would be going to LA. LeBron will be holding the Lakers back as long as he and his son stay there

  2. HE going to LA LAKERS – WATCH IM THE FIRST TO SAY IT – I HAD A DEAM ( SQUEEZE)🪂🎱🎱🎱🎱🏂🏌🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️🤾‍♂️

  3. When has a top 10 player gotten traded for another top 10 player?! It almost never happens. If you trade Giannis that means you are rebuilding. And that’s okay if you get solid role players or picks back

  4. How’s he a bum… ??? He’s old but you young guys can’t prove it consistently. lol you won nothing. That “ its my time” only work if yo can prove it not cowardly post with no proof. Bless your insignificant hearts😂😂😂

  5. Dude said he would ask for Brunson and then said he would have no interest in Reaves. Reaves can have 30 point and 40 point nights too, he just doesn't have them as much because he plays behind Lebron and Luka. Imagine if Brunson hadn't been traded from the Mavericks years ago and kept playing behind Luka, he wouldn't have been in the proper situation to reach his true potential. That is where Reaves is as a player, free him to run the offense through him and his average PPG won't be far off from Brunson if at all, could be higher. He is also taller and younger.

  6. Everyone saying its impossible and laughing at the idea of Giannis going to LA. If I wouldve told you a couple years ago that Luka could be traded to LA for AD you would all say the same lol
