So, I can’t help but feel that with every passing day that goes by, Edwin Diaz potentially gets closer to becoming a Los Angeles Dodgers, if the Mets don’t pay him, if they hesitate, if they wait, if they fumble the bag, if they take their time and he gets antsy, if he gets tired of waiting for them to offer the fifth year and all things are equal at four, he may go from east to west and join the Dodgers. The Blue Jays are going after him aggressively still. I don’t know if the Yankees are in it or not, but I think it’s going to come down to LA, Toronto, and the two New York teams. I don’t know if anyone offers five years, but if someone offers four and the four-year 20, that 80 million right here, right now, we may get a decision on Edwin Diaz soon.
