  3. Kawhi-era Clippers definitely do get the most absurd benefit of the doubt for a team that hasn’t won

    Even last year after Kawhi had that huge game 2 everyone was like KAWHI IS BACK HE’S INVINCIBLE BETTER THAN PRIME LEBRON IN THE PLAYOFFS and then when he loses people forget it even happened lol

    Don’t think I’ve ever seen a team literally ride off accomplishments that their best player had elsewhere

    For a while it was just talked about like a fact that they’d be the best team in the league if fully healthy despite never actually having to prove anything to back that up

  19. No one cares about the Clippers in LA and the whole country and that is what gives that front office a pass. If it had been the other way were the Lakers got Kawhi, traded Shai and all those picks for Paul George and never even made it to the Finals let alone winning it, Lawrence would have lost his job 2 years ago instead of being called a smart guy. It’s the Clippers who cares!

  39. I get the thought but they don’t actually lose all the time. They have the longest winning season streak in the league and one of the longest playoff streaks. They lose in the sense of not winning championships, but it’s not like they’re the Hornets or Wizards
