Wait, did you know an MLB team is literally homeless right now? Like officially. The Oakland A’s ditched Oakland for Las Vegas, but their billion-dollar Vegas stadium won’t be done until 2028. So, their old lease ended. Their new home doesn’t exist. And the team basically said, “All right, guess we’re couch surfing.” They dropped Oakland from the name and are now playing three whole seasons in a 14,000 seat minor league stadium in Sacramento. Three seasons. They can’t call themselves Las Vegas yet. Can’t go back to Oakland. So, they’re just the Athletics. No city, no home. It’s the most expensive identity crisis in sports
