  1. Never sacrifice the known for the unknown. Fuck them picks if Giannis is willing to commit.

  2. Giannis would cost himself a ton of money if he didn’t sign an extension with whatever team traded for him.

He’s not leaving a supermax on the table.

  3. Honestly man I’m good.  The NBA is turning the page on his generation and getting younger, fast.  I don’t want to be tied to a guy in his 30’s on a massive contract.

  4. Do you think Giannis being the least entertaining star to watch in the league has any impact on Onsi/Ressler’s decision

  5. I’ll be glad when he finally gets traded (and doesn’t come here) so I never have to hear about this again lol

  6. That is the right way to go. Another note tho I watched the pelicans every now and then in their back to back against the timberwolves and yes they lost both times and they’re 3-19 but I’m in the minority that I actually do think they’re better then their record. They were very competitive twice against the good Timberwolves team.

The fit of their team is weird but I would say there’s enough talent for them to actually jump a couple spots. Fears and queen are playing well for rookies, Saddiq is probably playing the best ball of his career, Trey Murphy is very decent. Add Jordan Poole (when he uses his brain) Herb, DJ, Zion (whenever he hell he’s healthy) I actually don’t think it’s an awful team (talent wise not fit wise).

Not saying they’ll jump all the way to the playoffs but while I hope they don’t I do think they’ll finish with a better record then the Kings, Wizards, Pacers, nets and maybe charlotte and Utah depending on what those two teams decide to do.

I sound like a pelicans fan lol but basically I’d say it is exciting the pick but I reckon keep your expectations leveled just at the moment

  7. Why the hell would Giannis leave a supermax on the table 😂 he’s not signing an extension, that’s just obvious bait from his agent

  8. Am I crazy or is this just stating the obvious lol.

Hawks won’t trade that 2026 Pick.

BUT Hawks would consider trading it if Giannis would come to Atlanta and sign an extension.

I’m really not sure he’d want to come here, but I truly believe we have one of, if not the, best offers. But I’m totally fine keeping and using the pick.

  9. Can’t believe people pay these guys to say this stuff lmao. “Hawks don’t plan to trade most valuable asset in the league. Would consider if top 3 players signed and extended”

  10. I know it’s a long shot, but after what we got from the Braves, United, and Falcons, this city could really use a win right now.

  11. Can we get Giannis without trading Trae or Jalen? No chance right?

NAW, Risacher, Onyeka and every first we’ve got for 3x Antetokounmpos

  12. One thing no one is talking about, what do we then trade for Giannis’s lil bro? lol

I’m 99% keep the pick, I love this teams roster and excited to add a potential top pick… BUT I’ve seen a lot of top 5 picks be busts. Also seen a lot of stars not be the same as they once were sooner than later. This is a hard one, glad I’m not the GM!

Also, do we really want 20 second free throw attempts for the next 5-10 years? Imagine the amount of FTs him and Trae will draw every night, damn!

  13. We can literally do nothing and our core will age like fine wine. But Onsi has been cooking, so I believe if a deal gets done, it won’t gut our franchise

  14. Well, goodbye KP+ Kennard + ZR if he agrees. If Not, then im all for getting a cheaper AD for the low price.

  15. Don’t see them making a deal before the deadline, Bucks arent getting trae period. They aren’t getting both this years Pels pick, AND their pick back they would absolutely have to pick if Onsi just uses his leverage correctly. Every single phone call should be “give us Giannis for KP, Risacher, Salary, and 1 of the aforementioned firsts, or we’ll happily take a player top 5 in 2027. Hang up*”
