Should The Winnipeg Jets Make A Trade For Laurent Brossoit?
Should the Winnipeg Jets trade for Lauram Bruis? This is something I saw on Twitter the other day and honestly I find it just absolutely hilarious that every time the Jets are in need for a trade, it seems like we always go back to the well of old players from the past because Lauren Bwis, he left the Jets a few years ago to sign with Chicago, he got injured with a knee injury and then now he’s been sent down to the AHL for a conditioning stint with the expectction that he’s coming back to play and he’s been granted as well permission to get a trade. Now, obviously, Lauren was his probably his best career years have come uh with the Winnipeg Jets. He’s on a $3.3 million contract, and I understand why this is a narrative in the news because of the hellbuck injury because of the poor play from Eric Hry and Thomas Militch as of late. But at the end of the day, if you think that trading for Lauren Brasis is going to solve the Winnipeg Jets problems, then you know, you got another thing coming because even though he would be a massive upgrade over what we already have at that cap hit with Hellbuck coming back in probably under a month at this point, I just don’t see why the Jets would do this at this point. makes no sense to me. You'll never be a winning team with one line doing all the scoring. What has the bottom nine forwards contributed in the last 10 games? Not much.
The Jets start conditioning a new goalie to replace Helly in the future. Seems like stop gaps only.
Yes, let's bring in a 2nd player fresh off hip surgery, that'll do it. Comrie is a good goalie and is mostly not the problem, the Jets have not adapted to how speed is affecting the game and still have Schenn and Stanley on the line. We don't need big, slow enforcers. Schenn should retire and Stanley, as much as he did well at the start of the season, is a slow liability on the ice. Our second line is also way too slow for the current state of the NHL, Ehlers is noticeably missed.
Comrie and Milic are NOT the problem. Need to play better in all areas, and it would be swell if the Jets could get back to scoring.
Do it he's too good to pass up
We just need him to win enough to stay well with in striking distance of a playoff spot and helly will do the rest.
