Things Just Got VERY INTERESTING For The Miami Heat…

[Music] Things just got very interesting for the Miami Heat, specifically on the Giannis Antthony Kmpo trade fronts. Obviously, the news broke on Wednesday afternoon when Sham Shiran had the report that Giannis and his agent are already starting conversations with the Milwaukee Bucks about a potential trade request prior to the trade deadline. We know that there were trade maybe discussions had very briefly in the off season with the Bucks and other teams, but now it seems like before this February trade deadline, things are going to get even more engaged from the Bucks perspective here. And I know a lot of people are going to come here and say, “Oh, he’s just a New York Nick.” I don’t think that’s the case. I was talking with producer Coupe and I was like, “Yeah, maybe if Giannis requests the Knicks and only the Knicks, that is what is going to happen.” But if you just look at the Knicks offer for Giannis in comparison to what other teams including Miami could offer, I don’t think the Knicks trade package is really competitive in comparison to the others. So to me, it would have to be just New York. and Sham Shirana in his breaking news article said over the offseason Anthony Kmpo explor explored external options and was open to playing for one team outside of Milwaukee that being the Knicks but sources described it as an exclusive negotiating window for the Knicks in August that did not ultimately come to fruition and that will not be the case moving forward and that’s the important part of the report and article from Sham Shirana and I reacted to the news, sent out a hypothetical trade offer over on my Twitter yesterday after the news broke, and now we’re making a video today. I think the way that this will progress, assuming that Giannis does ultimately request a trade, which seems like it’s going that way. Brian Winhorse reported yesterday morning before this report that Giannis already did request a trade, but it just hasn’t been public knowledge and it obviously hasn’t been honored to this point. I think Giannis will not go one team right now. Like I don’t think he’ll do like I just want the next. I think he will give Milwaukee a list of maybe four or five teams and then it will become open bidding from there. And if you are going to ask me who I think the list of teams Giannis will give Milwaukee in terms of yes, I’m okay being traded there, these are the five. And I do think the Miami Heat will be on there. There has been a long time flirtatious vibe between Miami and Giannis. And I believe that there could have been an opportunity for Giannis to potentially get traded to the Heat maybe two or three years ago if we’re going to be honest. I think the Spurs, the Knicks, the Hawks, and Mavericks could all be on that list. But when you start to really look at these five teams that might be on Giannis’s list and think, “All right, if it’s open bidding between these five teams, who could really get a deal done here?” I would cross out the Dallas Mavericks and thus they offer Cooper flag, which I do not think they would. Plus, Dallas, like they’re playing better basketball. They just beat us last night. We’ll talk about that in a little bit, but like they’re not competitive this season. And the Knicks I already talked about. I don’t think they have a good package. I actually think realistically here out of the five teams we just talked about, the New York Knicks have the worst trade offer for Giannis. Excuse me, something stuck my throat. Out of those five teams, I think it’s horrible. Now, it’s a good tradeoffer for a superstar, but when you’re talking MVP all caliber, top three player in the game, Giannis Antthonyo, they have the worst trade offer. Now, the part that makes this really interesting for not only the Miami Heat, but the rest of the NBA is what took place in the Milwaukee Bucks game on Wednesday. You see this photo. Giannis went down with a non-cont injury and it was after he drove, he dished it to a teammate, bucket scored, he turns around and starts running back to the defensive end and he just hits the deck and immediately starts grabbing at his calf/ Achilles injury area. Now, the Bucks called it a calf strain, which we know is still very dicey. And if you were to play on a calf strain before it is fully healed, it can really lead to an Achilles tear. Tyresese Hallebertton did it in the NBA finals and we saw um Kevin Durant do it as well when he was still playing with the Warriors back in 2019. And I’ll say this, he’s currently undergoing an MRI. It might have happened this morning, last night as of filming. The results have not been released. Now, the Bucks already ruled out an Achilles injury. That’s what Doc River says. Now, I don’t know if I’ll believe that, but I will make this statement right now. If Giannis Antono ruptured his Achilles, this is gamechanging stuff for his career. I do not believe Giannis, even with the modern medicine, the ability for players to return from torn Achilles and still play at a high level. We’ve seen it now with Kevin Durant. I think we’re going to see it with Jason Tatum and Tyrese Hallebertton. But the way that Giannis plays, the downhill explosion physical type of offense where he doesn’t really have a bag, right? He relies on his athleticism, his size, his explosiveness. I do not think he would be able to return and be the same player. So, if he ruptures his Achilles, I mean, I think this obviously will push off a potential trade for another year until he recovers because I don’t think Milwaukee would trade him at his lowest value, but I also don’t know if it’s a trade worth making at that point because I don’t think he will be able to return to that same level. So, that’s something we got to keep our eye on and I’ll let you know and update you on the channel as long as the Heat are still in the mix for Giannis as well as all the other trade rumors. If the MRI comes back for Giannis a,000% clean, he will likely not play for a four or five weeks until that calf’s reign is a 100,000% healed and there’s no chance of him having an Achilles tear or the increased chances of an Achilles tear. If that is the case, this is the one you sacrifice absolute everything for to go out and acquire in a trade. I it is just that good of a player. I mean he is a walking 30 and10 on 60% shooting. The guy is still 30 years old. And if he says, “Yeah, I want to be potentially a member of the Heat.” You do not put anybody off the table outside of Bam at a bio. He is the only one that you will not offer on a trade. Now, if you offered Bam, you probably would have the best possible package because that’s a great building block and a rebuild for the Milwaukee Bucks. But I also don’t think Giannis would want to come to Miami. And if he found out the Heat were trading BAM for him, I think he would take Miami off of his list because no one wants to come to Miami to not play with Bam. And I know some people who hate Bam in the chat in the comment section will say he’s not even that good. But like you guys don’t understand how other teams and players feel about Bam, the relationships Bam has around the league. He is the main guy people would want to play with in Miami. So you do not trade Bam for Giannis. You trade for Giannis to pair him up with Bam. Now, I’ve got two different offers from the Miami Heat, and I want to take a look at some of the other offers that the teams that I talked about earlier could send to Milwaukee for Antony Kmpo. Well, the one that I put on my Twitter and the one that I think is the most likely to be honest that the Heat would offer is this one. I think they would trade Tyler Herro, KL Wear, Nicole Yoic, and Simone Fontakio for Giannis and get back AJ Green. You also add in two unprotected first round picks. Doesn’t matter to me if it’s 29 and 2031 or 2030 or 2032. It’s going to be one of those two combinations. But I think this is a really fair trade. And you know why I think this is a very fair trade? It’s because when I put it on Twitter and I got 25 quote tweets and about 80 replies, it was split about 5050 on the Heat are sending too much and this is a good trade. send it in from Miami’s end. That’s how I know it’s a really good trade offer from Miamiy’s retrospect. Now, would the Bucks want this? Maybe they would want a little bit more, but you get a building block young 22-year-old center in Kel Wear that looks like an elite level player at some times. You get a 25-year-old all-star from the Milwaukee area. That’s where he grew up in Tyler Hero. A young kind of intriguing guy in Yovic and two unprotected firstround picks. And if Giannis wants to come to Miami, I think that is a very fair trade offer from Miami. And if the Bucks said, “Listen, I need Andrew Wiggins, too.” You know what? I wouldn’t give a And you know, it might be a little bit much to offer Hero Wiggins and Wear. I’d probably take Yoic out of the package in that scenario and it would be a Wiggins hero wear first round pick. But you know what? I would do it because yes, Andrew Wiggins would be phenomenal as that third guy in the front court alongside Bam and Giannis. He is just way too inconsistent for my liking. And yes, we’ve seen him be a contributing piece on a title team, 2022 Golden State Warriors. I just can’t like fathom him winning another ring. Like I feel like it might have been an anomaly. I I don’t know what to tell you. He is such an odd player in my opinion. He can look like a top two player on a title team like he did against the Pistons on Saturday and against the Clippers on Monday and he could look like an unplayable guy as well like Wednesday against the Mavericks. I mean, I was in the building watching that game in person cuz we’re living in Dallas, Texas and he looked like he was wearing dark blue. Like it was disgusting. The shot selection that Andrew Wiggins had against the Mavericks was embarrassing. He went four of 18 and he was consistently shooting contested shots inside the ark. He got blocked like three times. Even producer Coupe, who was with me at the game, said, “I’ve never seen Wiggins play another game this bad.” I couldn’t agree more. He was horrid. And that is why I’m fine trading him. He’s inconsistent. And I also just think if you want to acquire Yiannis Antin Koopo, you are going to need to go big. If you are going to want to beat the trade offers being sent in from a San Antonio Spurs, from the teams like Atlanta, New York, you are going to need to send an offer that Milwaukee can’t refuse. And I truly do believe that is that type of package. And listen, here’s another trade idea, including Andrew Wiggins, like I mentioned, like now they could maybe just do hero Wiggins wear and first round picks for Giannis, but I think the Bucks may look to get off of some of these other veteran contracts. They just signed Bobby Portoris, who I think is eligible to be traded either in mid January or December 15th, which obviously the trade would likely happen in January when Giannis returns from injury. But the point I’m trying to make is they might try to shed either Koozma or Portoris’ contract because it’s not a very good contract right now. If you do that, you could just trade some money fontio and get Portoris back to kind of alleviate some bad contracts there for Milwaukee. I I’d be willing to do both. Like I I have a preference on which one I would rather do, but I certainly would be fine doing both because when you are talking about a fully healthy Jiannis antagono, there is nothing outside of Bam and Abio, you do not send. And if you did either one of your packages that I talked about, you would still have Norman Powell and D’Von Mitchell in the back court, Bam and Giannis in the front court, and you figure it out from there because those four could easily win the Eastern Conference and be right there with Oklahoma City for the NBA Finals potentially. But let me know your thoughts. Which deal for Miami do you prefer? my first one, which is the one that I actually prefer, or the second one where you trade Wiggins, Hero, and Wear, but keep Yoic, as well as Hawz, plus two first round picks. Type one or two down in the comment section. But I want to look at some of the other trade offers that could be out there and compare it to Miami. This is why I think Miami is better than the Knicks offer because the Knicks could offer only really one package. It’s two of Carl Lee Town’s OG and Anobi and Muel Bridges. It could be any iteration. Cat and OG, Cat and Bridges, OG and Bridges. Like, it doesn’t really matter, but it’s one of two of those three. They could only offer one first round pick. It’s either their own 2026 first round pick or the Wizards 2026 first round pick, which is top eight protected. But, it’s likely going to have to be their own first round pick because, well, let’s be honest here. Wizards are probably going to finish in the top eight again. You can offer four pick swaps, but if you’re the Bucks, why does that matter? Because you are going to be picking higher than the Knicks in all four of those years. And then second six second round picks. Like Cat is a nonfactor. Why in God’s green earth would the Bucks want Cat at $53 million a year at his age when he’s not a contributor to winning? You would rather go with a younger player package and more first round picks. The Atlanta Hawks could outdo Miami if Giannis wanted to go there because the Hawks could offer Jaylen Johnson, Zachary Reach, Asa Newuel, and four first round picks. And not to mention, the Hawks have a pick swap with the Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2026. Pelicans are going to be picking in the top 10. The Bucks are going to be picking in the top 10. And the Bucks would get that trade or that pick back and be able to be selecting inside the top 10 this year. I mean, the Hawks have a very compelling offer. Now, would Atlanta even want to give up Jaylen Johnson? Who knows? But it would be a good offer. And then here comes the God offer. Listen, let’s just call Spade a spade. The Spurs want them. They’re getting them. They could offer Vel, Kell Johnson, Dylan Harper, Stfan Castle. They could offer a lot. And they could they also have like still five or six first round picks they can offer. I’ll mention this again. If Giannis is fine being traded to San Antonio and it wants to be a Spur, it’s wraps because they could do anything. They could offer five first round picks. They could offer Dylan Harper, who is probably the best young player that any team can offer. It’s the moral of the story. I think the Heat have a really good offer, but if Giannis wants to be a Spur and the Spurs are sending in a lot for Giannis, it’s just he’s a spur.
