Bobby McMann Scores On Maple Leafs’ First Shot For Fourth Straight Game

That’ll be knocked away. Good effective stick there by Shawn Walker. Well, that’s the skating ability that Walker uses that I mentioned with Shane Gosses Bear to defend, have those tight gaps. Toronto approach in the Kzone. That check comes through. The score. Bobby McMahon let it go. It rang off the post and banked in off of Frederick Anderson and trickled over the goal line. And on the Leaf’s first shot of the game, it’s one- nothing. Well, the Leafs created numbers in the neutral zone. It was a threeon two and found a soft area McMahon did before Stan Coven could adjust and try to tie up his stick and the shot in a perfect shooting position. Goes off the short side blocker side post and off the backside of Anderson. Anderson nearly recovers, but the puck had already completely crossed the goal line. That’s what the Maple Leafs can do. And the Hurricanes have had some trouble in the last couple of games with regards to giving up transition, creating that brief threeon two. And boy did they take advantage. [Music]

Watch as Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann scores against the Carolina Hurricanes on the first shot of the game to increase the team’s streak of finding the back of the net on the first shot for the fourth consecutive game.

  1. Knies playing like a power forward, Matthews blocking shots, The D boxing out in front. The GM has to claim a backup goalie on the waiver wire. If it's a groin injury on woll possibly it's 6 weeks.
