The Utah Jazz got another win against a bad team in the Brooklyn Nets and are now one game out of the play in. Utah doesn’t seem to be very clear on what they want to be or do and are now officially in No Mans Land.

  2. Our front office belongs in the laughingstock with Dallas and New Orleans. This is how big of a stupid blunder we are committing. We are in desperate need of a young talent and we are in a perfect position to get that talent and our management is actively sabotaging it. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

  6. Everyone talks about Dallas and San Antonio for ā€œjUmPiNg InTo tHe LoTtErYā€ but no one talks about the other 7-8 lottery teams who didnā€™t. Even if 2 of the non top 4 lottery teams jumped every year thatā€™s a 2/10 chance! Losing big is the way to win big in the long run

  8. Also I officially admit defeat on the Collier vs WCJ debate. I was firmly in the Collier camp but I was wrong. His inability to score is so severe that it makes everything else he does meaningless. WCJ should be the 2nd guard in the game going forward.

Keyonte is the reason we are winning more games and thatā€™s a goood thing! Also Lauri same thing. Heā€™s back to being an all star.   10. You really think Utah would win championship with just one more talented youngster? It would be only slightly better mediocre team. Whole last year was Cooper Flagg Cooper Flagg and Mavs got him with 2%change. And they will not win championship even with Kyrie and AD on the team.

I disagree with the way NBA works and how nobody – including you – even makes an attempt to correct what is a logical, moral and ethical failure. I am sure this has been discussed to the death somewhere sometimes in NBA history, but I donā€™t care. I donā€™t like what Iā€™m hearing from you, though I donā€™t blame you for it. From an outsiderā€™s perspective NBA awarding lottery tickets in a way that rewards for unsportsmanlike behavior that is actively damaging the sport, and long term undermining every teamā€™s commercial prospects, is hard to understand and accept. Pinnacle of basketball, NBA, is devoid of shame. Just as incomprehensible is the superhumanly stoic patience (or is it apathy?) of fans who pack stadiums to watch their team play badly on purpose for years. You really call that ambition?European cities turn into warzones and managers get sacked for modest losing streaks. I know we shouldnā€™t hate the player if the game is trash, but as an outsider it is hard to get excited when seemingly nothing matters, everybodyā€™s just happyclapping win or lose, and thereā€™s no sign of any willingness to stand up and call out the bs. /rant

  13. The thing with Kessler is by waiting to pay him the Jazz can pay him past the salary cap without penalty because of his birdrights. They will probably have to pay him alot either because that's what he wants or gets offered by another team in restricted free agency.

  15. Indy lost Turner and no longer has a starting caliber center. Do you think they would take Walker for their 1st round pick this year? They still wouldn't be good this year but have a much better looking future when Tyrese comes back.

  17. I am starting to lose any and all confidence in the Utah Jazz front office and their management. The casual fans that think it's fun to be mediocre and win this year clearly don't understand what this year's draft will mean to the franchise or what it will mean to the Jazzs future if we lose it.

  21. I feel that this is the right Jazz,, not to be cheating by losing, that is sad mindset that ruins people. Since I was a kid I was taught to be the best, and that is what the Jazz are, losing on purpose is unethical, and unmoral for what we humans are. You can't create that kind of environment in players, it is not bad ownership, your mindset is going to lose you a lot of subscribers..Very sad that you are even putting down a 30 point game from Lauri. While listening to the NJ comenters, they gave more praise to several of the Jazz players than you do. it is sad that you are so blind!! I hope you know the story of Russell Conwell "Acres of Diamonds", if you do not know, find it, it could be your story..

  22. Listen, I'm all for tanking for the highest pick possible this year, but, I think doing so is possible while still keeping Lauri. What I don't understand is- What's the benefit of trading Lauri if you can (hopefully) draft a focal point player in the upcoming draft? Lauri seems like a pretty good player to have on a winning team; 7 ft, athletic, would have even better shooting splits with a true #1, has a skill set that ages well, etc etc… How much did trading away Mitchell and Gobert yield, for the amount of time it took to obtain said capital? Perhaps I don't see the calculus, but I think if we had a healthy Kessler and were to draft an Anthony Edwards or an SGA, type of talent- on this team, even, with how it's currently constructed- we would instantly or eventually become a contender.

    Potential trades would be …?
    Something with the Spurs for Lauri, they have too many young guards it seems like and maybe need I power forward.
    I honestly don't know what the Jazz would want to do, because I honestly believe that Ryan Smith thinks we're šŸ¤ close to being a good team. And as we all know we are not close at all. We are years away. But maybe šŸ¤” he will try to go "Big Game hunting" LMAO šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ and we will go help out New Orleans and take on Zion and then we can be the New Pelicans šŸ¤¬ I just don't feel like that Jazz ownership will allow us to do anything that will truly help us long-term because their living "La-La land" and it's too much fun beating the NBAs bad teams. But you can hear it at home games the Jazz Fans don't get loud for wins like they use too, they all know how superficial this all is….

  29. I was waiting for a vid after the rockets game, but that never came. Deep down I want the Jazz to tank for one of those top 3 prospects, but I believe everything will work out. I hope ace develops quick during this offseason and pops off next year. All Iā€™m saying is donā€™t let it get you down and enjoy the ride wherever it takes us

  30. If the Jazz trade Markkanen I think the only deal to be made is with the Atlanta Hawks for their Pelicans draft pick and a decent defensive player maybe Dyson Daniels. That's my best trade idea at this point

  31. you don't lose on purpose and you don't trade Markennen get over this. there are other ways to improve the jazz have young talent and assets to go make a trade for a great player quit acting like the jazz need to lose you can't create a environment based on that! let the players compete and give it their all and stop fantasizing about something that's not even guaranteed support your team!

  32. it'll all be fine. we'll tank it up second half of the season. we're only getting a worrying amount of wins because the league is so average. all we need is Lauri to get a long term "injury" and "manage" the youngsters and we'll keep our pick. I still think we might package everything we can to get another high pick in this draft for 2 good pieces.
