Not sure how reliable this rumor is but if the haggling price is cheap, would Zion be worth a shot? It’d definitely be risky since historically, he can’t seem to keep himself healthy enough to stay on the court. He’s only 25.

  1. i want to see him play here, we are tanking perpetually anyways, lets see if we can get some highlights

  2. Would have to be unrealistically cheap for me to take a chance on him.

If he’s healthy he’d be good but at this point it’s like a 10% he stays healthy enough to play impactful minutes.

  3. Hes got 2 years and ~85 million left. I would need them to provide a boatload of draft picks along with him before Id pick up the phone and my best offer would be some expiring contracts and maybe a second rounder or 2.

  4. Out of 450 NBA guys there’s only like 2-3 attainable ones that Jazz fans wouldn’t say hard pass on.

  5. I said it on another post and it’s obviously unpopular but I’d do it for the right deal that doesn’t include ace or key.

the play is to let him rest this year while we tank for a top 5 pick, give our trainers a year to see what they can possibly do with him. Then come back next year with ace key Zion a top 5 draft pick and walker/Lauri depending on the deal

Even if he doesnt get healthier we still have our core and his deal would end in 2 years. We would still get a top 10 guy to help us start winning for the half the year he typically plays
