I know MIL claims they wanna do right by giannis; but there is no way in hell they do this deal. This would set their franchise back years.
If the Bucks somehow accept KAT and 3 FR swaps, I’ll drive him right now to JFK while holding his hand and saying “there there….there there…”
It’s possible if Giannis pushes it, and he may have the leverage to do so since he’s a 2027 FA. I also wouldn’t bet on it.

He’s going to San Antonio. The Spurs are going to swallow their pride when they trade Harper but you do that trade ten times out of ten for Giannis.
He only goes to us if he demands NY and states that he’s only going to re-sign with us in 2027.
I can see KAT, Yabu and McBride for the Giannis brothers
I’d be fine offering more than this. Deuce is the obvious sweetener that I could live with even though I love him. He’s got the contract value, it will need to be extended but he’s worth it.
So now our report is coming out that he was almost traded to the Knicks back in August
So odds are we’re getting him. If they were close in August and the box wanted to see if maybe he changed his mind… now that he hasn’t and they seem willing to make him happy and send him where he wants to go…
I really do think we are going to get him and if we do, I think you guys should all celebrate since we’d be considerably closer to winning a ring with him on the team.
I’d be willing to also throw in a ham sandwich if necessary, but that’s as far as I’d go.

This sums up my take on it. It’s a risk, as with anything. But at his peak, KAT is an exceptional one way player, Giannis is an exceptional two way player.
If both players had a sub par offensive game, Giannis can still make a difference on the defensive end while the rest of our team carries the offensive load.
I don’t think that trade scenario gets it done, but if it could, I think there’s more upside there than with KAT.
This just gonna be the Donovan Mitchell thing again. Watch as another team outta nowhere nabs him.
No way it’s KAT ands some picks, that deal gets done yesterday if that’s the case. I’m hoping Giannis forces his way here, either he comes here. Wherever he goes he doesn’t do an extension and leaves for free agency, that way Bucks would be more willing to make a deal with us happen.
