Broncos on a 9-game win streak after this Nik Bonitto play 🔥

You know, we got to talk about the last play for sure. Two-point conversion in overtime. The play call, it was kind of a, you know, attack the QB on the mess charge. Both the outside backers were in charge of attacking the QB, kind of expecting run. And, you know, obviously the back end and the linebackers, they would have the running back. We weren’t expecting pass here, but it ended up being what it was. Tackle went down. So, at that point, I’m just trying to get after the quarterback. It’s at this point where I kind of feel like he’s about to throw the ball. So, I’m kind of just like, “All right, like, you know, I probably won’t get home. He’s going to try to get it out. Uh, let me just try to get in the way, you know, affect the QB. You know, just mess up the throw a little bit.” I ended up knocking it down for the game.

  1. Please keep in mind why Bonitto is going hard after the QB was so effective. Any coach will tell you that a QB who is backpedaling, throwing off his back foot, and getting elevation on the throw, is tough. And Bonitto's timing, then knocking it down, was outstanding.
