  1. I don’t think Noesen has earned first line minutes.

But I’m happy Lammikko is out and Crookshank is in. And happier White is in and Cholowski is out.

  2. Man…. I know getting a top 6 forward is hard. But you can’t keep either Palat or Noesen there every game. Poor drafting and bad contracts really starting to show.

  3. If Dougie and Luke don’t get going I’m not sure there’s an optimal forward line formation that would make a big difference. Thrilled Lammikko and Cholowski are out..they stink. No idea what a Crookshank is

  4. That’s a hard-hitting, heavy first line. I think Keefe wants in-your-fckn-face, net front presence for some greasy goals.

Hopefully the Grits-Glass-Brown can produce. I really like that line.

  5. Why not move Palat right up to the first line? He’s on fire with his 6 goal pace this season.

  6. CROOKSHANK SIGHTING

Altogether, not too different from what I posted in the pregame thread. I’m intrigued.

  7. So, uh…

    * Noesen has been a complete ghost on the fourth line and somehow gets moved to the first? I get it worked for a little bit last year but that’s when Noesen was putting up career numbers
    * Don’t love splitting up Mercer and Timo as they have some good mojo together
    * That third line could be sneaky good even if I don’t like Grits coming out of the top line
    * No Lammikko is a plus, hopefully Crookshank shows us something
    * No Cholowski is good, please get him off this team
    * Top 6 Palat experiment needs to end please
    * Need Markstrom to activate himself like he’s never been activated before

  8. I get the idea of putting Noesen on the first line to play in front when guys take shots that leave rebounds. One thing I noticed during games is rebounds were there to put back and no one was around the net and that is where you would often find him on the bottom 6 lines.

We will see if it works, but I dont think it is nearly the bad idea some might think.

  9. Not disagreeing with the changes but it is funny that with all the talk about giving Luke a steady veteran presence next to him, Nemo gets tossed around between partners like it’s nothing
