I honestly think that there are some places that are just pits of despair where it doesn’t matter how good the player or coach, they will never be successful. Washington, Vegas, and NYJ are the first to come to mind.
McVay will always be a grownup RL Calvin to me
Also had the better Shannahan and Raheem morris. They had 6 head coaches on their roster
2016 Falcons had these same coaches and more and somehow still blew a 25 point lead

This is the equivalent of having 4 guys mopping floors at a convenient store who go on to get PhDs.
Dan Campbell and Zac Taylor were also on the same Commanders team at one point too. Which ever year hard knocks followed them.
It’s almost like coaching doesn’t matter
No doubt built character and provided life lessons for each of them.
And if my theory is correct, Mike McDaniel should be a man of impeccable character and experience by now.
This goes to show you the value of leadership.

Every team in the league has way more than 4 current NFL coaches on staff
Can’t believe Washington had all these guys and KOC and couldn’t get anywhere with them. Really shows just awful they were managed.
