[Yahoo Sports] Kyler Murray done for the season, likely done for his career in Arizona

Well the Kyler stans were right. It was in fact not a soft benching!
… It was a hard one.
Good, now the team can move on and fire the coaching staff.
Does he get cut or will he be traded?
No matter how you feel about Kyler this is no doubt the end of an era. I don’t think anyone’s confident with the front office (Bidwill) picking a qb.
It’s going to feel weird seeing him be a top 5 QB for the Vikings
He been hurt way too much over the years
Not saying Jacoby is the answer but the offense operates and functions way better with Jacoby as QB. Just look at the touchdown and receiving numbers from MHJ, McBride, and Wilson with Jacoby vs Kyler.
Best qb the cardinals have drafted in the last 50 years, thrown away by garbage ownership
So Gannon chooses to try and sacrifice Kyler to save his skin… time for both to leave. At least I feel bittersweet about Kyler, Gannon can suck it.
I absolutely despise MITBryceYoung.
Cardinals fans really are God’s Strongest soldiers 😐
Vikings winning the superbowl next year
The final proof, as if we needed anymore, that this is a garbage moronic joke of a franchise would be if we release him this offseason. Honestly I’m not convinced we should even trade him, but if we get a decent trade offer (and by decent I just mean like a 3rd round pick and they eat everything but the 17.9 mil of dead cap we have no way of getting out of, I don’t need firsts or even seconds), I can live with a trade. What I couldn’t live with is if we eat 58 million in dead money just to make him go away, getting nothing in return, when the next best QB on our roster is a 33 year old Jacoby Brissett and we lack the O-Line to support any QB if we use our first round pick on a QB instead of OL. If we do that, we’re not just a bunch of clowns, we’re the whole circus.
Why not use him as a bridge QB next year?
Hear me out. Finish the year and DONT draft a QB in 26.
Keep Brisket as a bridge, 3 year $30 mil extension
Use Gannon as a useful idiot to tank 26, and THEN fire him.
Then in 27 either draft a QB, or build the trenches and bring a Vet in.
I think that’s the only way we succeed in spite of our ownership.
I wish Kyler all the best on his next stop and hope he is very successful, but to me it’s clear that he hit his ceiling here and both sides need to move on.
We also need to move on from this coach, but knowing how cheap Bidwill is, I imagine the coaching staff/FO stays next season. If that is the case, then the best outcome is let Jacoby tank command next year and bring in maybe a 3rd-4th round qb as “competition”, then clean house at the end of next year and let the new coach and FO pick their franchise guy in a better QB class
I think Gannon and Kyler knew right away, and hoped he got healthy. He is likely seating iut next year if not healthy.
I think if we lose out, we Draft a new QB, replace OC and see were we go from there.
Well, time to donate that Murray jersey.
Goodnight, sweet prince.
FUCKKKKKK WHAT THE FUCK
Why didn’t they just go for a rookie last draft? Why fucking have Petzing here and not Klayron Adam’s? I don’t know about Fannin and Monti.
Don’t get me wrong, we went from being in cap hell and the facilities starting to upgrade, maybe even office morale went up as well, but I don’t trust this front office to go up from here at all.
Kyler had a decent run before management got cheap and he suffered setback injuries one after another. There was a brief period of time he was in the MVP conversation through 9 weeks and we thought this was the future, but the entire Cardinals team decided to die from injuries that year. I think he’s been figured out since then. I don’t see him working well anywhere. I think he can still be serviceable but not a part of any winner. He’ll always have a Heisman. Politely, maybe try baseball again.
Kyler and Josh Allen were drafted the same year. Kyler has had enough time to prove he’s the man and he hasn’t been able to do it.
