Bruins Make Sneaky GOOD Move… MULTIPLE Bruins Updates | Boston Bruins News
The Boston Bruins have made a very sneaky move as this team remains in a predicament with injuries as one notable signing from this off season has officially been recalled. We’re going to be breaking that down as well as going over some pretty good updates regarding the Boston Bruins and Charlie Makavoy as well as some very interesting Bruins prospects going to play international. We’re going to be breaking it all down here in this video. Before we do jump into it though, ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already, be sure to hit the sub button. Join me here on the channel. We’re covering everything Boston Bruins. And with the few updates that we have today, things are looking bright for the Bruins. So, when things heat up again, you will not want to miss it. I’m going to have it all here on the channel. And keep in mind, the trade market is continuing to heat up with the Bruins being linked in quite a few moves. And we’re going to cover it all here on the channel. But we need to jump straight into what we have here today because we have some pretty good updates, ladies and gentlemen. And as we know, starting off, the Bruins have been pretty significantly injured, mainly on the defense as of late with multiple players coming back on the offense. The defense has been one of the biggest issues for the Bruins as we’re kind of getting reminiscence of last year with the sheer amount of changes that have been made on the defense to try to get something to work. And as of today and as of right now, a move has been made that was seemingly, you know, made to fix this, but also so was the signing. And going into this, Connor Ryan tweeted this out. The Bruins have recalled Victor Sodestrom from Providence on an emergency basis and placed Michael Callahan on injury reserve. So, another defenseman down due to injury. Hopefully, this one is once again not too long. And like I said in yesterday’s video, it doesn’t seem like it will be. This is just for an emergency basis to get another guy on the roster and this time it is Victor Sodestrom. Now I did kind of go over a little bit yesterday touched on who could be the next man called from the Providence Bruins to help out on this defense and Frederick Brunette I think is still the top candidate even though he was not called up and there is a reason for that. When you look at the defense right now the right side is the issue. this year might have injuries. Henrik Okiharu, Jordan Harris, who did play a little bit of both the beginning of the season, Charlie Makavoy, who we have an update on here in a few moments. All of them are down and you have Andrew Peak as your number one right defenseman. Now, even though Frederick Brunette seems like the greatest option, the Bruins want to make sure they can go with another rightand shot. And Victor Sodestrom is that guy. He’s the one that I think right now is the best fit, the best scheme fit for what their issue is right now and the best fit for what can be fixed. Although I do still believe Frederick Brunette will likely be the more important man to be called up at some point throughout this season, the remainder of this season. But Victor Sodro right now a very interesting addition because as I mentioned, I’m a big fan of him. I think that he was very, very good with his time in Arizona. although he was never really given the chance. Things didn’t really work out there. That was before they were the mammoth and that was before they kind of got some stuff clicking and getting back to being a solid team. So given him right now, still 24 years old, I think it is a great opportunity. And like I said, you look at the defense here, although Frederick Brunette has really been getting the highlights, Victor Sodro is right there. Nine points in 18 games. Better point production, I guess, even though he did play less uh two less games. not the goal scoring that Frederick Brunette has, but I still think it is going to be a very interesting thing to watch as he is someone that was potentially going to make this NHL team at the start of the season. Ultimately didn’t get there at that point. But I like it. I really like Victor Sodestrom. I have since he was drafted and I think this is going to be another great opportunity for him to show that he’s capable of playing at the NHL level at a regular pace. Now, will he? I think when you know everybody comes back healthy, that question will still be one that is very tough to say yes to due to how good this defense is while healthy. But as a seventh defenseman, he can certainly be that Parker Wtherspoon of the few years past. So that’s a good update regarding this defense. I think Victor Sodestrom is a great addition here. I want to know what you guys think about that because as of right now, the Bruins really need to do whatever they can on the defense. And even though there’s been links to some moves, they’ve all been forwards. There hasn’t been much conversation on the defensive side of things regarding bringing some people in because they have pretty good depth on that going down to the AHL as well. But a lot of injures are happening and have, you know, have a lot of people here still. They may need some more, you know, reinforcement. So, whatever that does entail is still to be determined, but this is going to be a great step forward, especially with this one. as well. As you see right here, Charlie Makavoy is back on the ice as Bell Frasier posted the practice lines here from this morning. And you’re looking at the defense here. Has I know Andrew Peak, Zidorf, Aspro, Lori, Sodestrom getting a little bit better in terms of, you know, the way it’s looking. Having Michael Callahan there still was good, but he is a left-handed defenseman. Everything like that was just not the most ideal situation for the Bruins. But this is good. Charlie Makavoy, a red jersey on today. No contact, but as you see the no contact jersey being available, getting ready to skate. Skating, it’s all a very good sign going forward. He did have the bubble on today as well. So whether that means he is getting closer and closer to returning, still yet to be determined, but obviously some great things. Some teammates had a laugh as you see right here. Pavo Zaka saying it’s great to see him on the ice. It’s great to see him kind of smile a little bit. as we know, still got that uh I’m assuming the stitches may be in or out at this point, but that face does not feel great still and I can guarantee you that. So, good to see him on the ice and a positive attitude. Although he may not be smiling because he can’t, but still Charlie Makavoy being back is something that we want to see, but as Marco Stur has continued to say, we need these people at 100%. You need your stars back at 100%. You don’t want to rush him back, cause a reinjury, especially something in this area right here along the jaw. Something as simple as the slightest hit along the boards. If something rises up, that could cause some serious uh damage once again. So hopefully Charlie Makavoy is back soon. And hopefully that is something that will uh you know be at least very very you know positive signs come in the coming days. And we have a few updates from Marco Storm as well. Before we do move on to a few more updates here, Charlie Makavoy will continue to skate this week, but it’s on a dayto-day basis and they’ll see where he is at next week. The thing is a day-to-day basis doesn’t necessarily mean daytoday as we know with David Posrock. The second update there, hope to see him start skating soon, but he is not ready just yet. And as we know and as we’ve seen, will likely not skate for the rest of the week. And hopefully that means Friday, not Sunday, depending on what their weekend means. If he starts skating Saturday will be a good sign. Get him back. We know Poshnock hopefully will be ready to come back. We know he wants to come back. But once again, David Poshock needs to be 100% healthy. And that was what we had in our most recent update yesterday with Marco Sturm on David Posh. And the final one, Yonas Corpasalo is in net tonight. Game time is about 3 and 1/2 hours away from this point right now in the video. So hopefully this is going to be a good result. Hopefully we see the Bruins bounce back a little bit. Excited to see Victor Sodestrom. But we do have one more update before we do finish this video off. And going into this, we have an interesting look as a few more Bruins prospects are joining the international team. Not the World Juniors, but the Spangler Cup. US collegiate selects Quinnipiac forward Chris Pelosi on the roster. Also being joined by Ryan Walsh on the team. Two good looks there playing against some higher level, not necessarily higher level competition, but some players who have been in the NHL, some former players, some international. It’s going to be good to see. It’s going to be much more physical competition even though it is international. You’re getting some bigger guys, some uh, you know, adults, some men playing against them. is going to be good competition for them and only hopefully increase their production here for their respective teams in this season. But ladies and gentlemen, that is all I have here today. I don’t want to keep you too long. So, we got to prep for game time tonight. But like I said, it is all I have here in this one. If you did enjoy it, give it a like, hit the sub button as well, and let me know what you think and what your kind of expectations are for Victor Sodestrom here tonight. I’m excited to see it. I hope you guys are as well. And we’re going to have an update on this coming tomorrow as well about not just his game, but also how the Bruins do bounce back from a pretty unfortunate loss. But like I said, that’s all I got. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.
The Boston Bruins have made a very interesting move by recalling Victor Soderstrom to the Bruins active roster as they continue to battle injuries. While also getting multiple updates that include David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy injury updates and some Bruins prospects going international.

I have a genius trade in mind for the Boston bruins and I believe it will work give up David pastrank and a 1st round draft pick for Connor McDavid I bet you it will work out both sides on Boston and Edmonton
Hope Soderstrom works out well….Am I the only one that sees Peeke out of position constantly when we are giving up goals? he doesn't bring anything offensively…Would it be a bad thing to bring Conor Clifton back? I don't remember him being a constant issue in the defensive zone….
