i fully believe there is a dialog going on behind the scenes between holland and deboer, possibly other options. I think it leaked and he was holding it in his pocket in case the kings continue to struggle. Hiller is on the chopping block

Two Ls in a row and Hiller is back on the chopping block. To be fair, maybe the pressure is a good thing.
I don’t like Hiller at all, I don’t think he’s head coach material.
That said; What DeBoer did on his way out of Dallas was appalling and absolutely not the toxic garbage I want anywhere near the team. Throwing Otter under the bus the way he did failed to spark anything but his hasty exit from Dallas. As a side note, I really don’t see how bringing in yet another coach who couldn’t beat Edmonton with arguably a more talented roster is an improvement.

Lebrun is stupid… GTOH, we need a coach plain and simple and he is currently the best option. I agree why would a GM put the team psyche in even worse shape, by admitting to looking for a coach..
