I don’t know that I fully agree with the premise that there nothing left for him to gain in AAA, but I tend to fall into the camp that unless it’s a confidence issue, your better getting major league reps if you can get them consistently to improve. For Carson you’re generally hoping that he just finds a way to find the sweet spot on his approach at the plate and is able to adjust when other teams make adjustments as all hitters need to do. You just hope as well as he sees more reps over time his overall discipline and contact rate improves enough to let his power show a bit more. I still think Walls is a better defender right now by quite a bit(Just because his defense is insane, not a nock on Carson)so Walls would be the SS I would start right now in a must win game.
