You got the uh the Washington Wizards coming into this one 3-8 on the year 6 and 15 against number this season after 146 101 loss to the Boston Celtics at home in their last matchup while Atlanta coming into this one on the backto back taking on the Denver Nuggets on Friday. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Atlanta Hawks shake out. You know, it’s been a back andforth game. They were leading by a fair margin and then Denver stormed all the way back and then Atlanta made a late run to make it close. At the time this video is being recorded, we are in the dying seconds of this game. So, it’s going to be interesting to see, like I said, how it kind of unfolds. But, you know, now Atlanta will, you know, head out on the road to take on Washington on no rest. And you know, this is an Atlanta team that when you look at their numbers on the second half of the backto back this season, you know, the Atlanta Hawks have been kind of a middle of the road team, 3-2 against the spread on a back-to back this season, but I still think that they’re in a better spot than the Washington Wizards. The Wizards, I’ve said before, and if you’ve heard me say it before, and I sound like a broken record, I apologize, but say it with me if you know what I’m about to say. when you back or when you’re talking about the Washington Wizards, you either back them to win outright or you take the other side by double digits because the points rarely come into play if it’s a single digit line. And I kind of think that’s where we are right now because yes, the Washington Wizards have been able to pick up some wins here and there. They beat Milwaukee at home as double- digit dogs. But this is also a revenge spot for Atlanta, having lost in Washington in blowout fashion, 13213 the last time these two teams met about two weeks ago on November 25th. And Atlanta was laying 11 points in that game and they simply put up a dud. But for me, you know, Atlanta is still a team that I think I trust offensively. It’s going to be interesting to see, you know, if they if they have a bit of a let down here. This is going to be a very emotional game to close out this uh to close out Friday’s matchup whether they complete the comeback or they fall short. But I still think Atlanta is the better team by a fair margin in this game. Washington, like I said, this team has just been getting crushed. You know, their last two losses, like I said, they were catching double digits in both and lost by 19 and 45. I think this is just we stick to what we know, and that has been that the Washington Wizards are one of the worst, if not the worst team in the NBA this season. and I expect Atlanta to win this game comfortably on the road.
