Just don’t see how this is a good situation for dart and the rest of our young players.
I don’t get why nfl teams keep doing this bears with Caleb last year, we just did it, it’s like the jets favorite move.
I’m beating a dead horse, but why the fuck was dart drafted into a lame duck situation? Why was Daboll given another year after 3-14? Stability? Congrats guys, mission accomplished there….
I actually tend to follow the European soccer school of coaching. If the guy is wrong, get him the fuck outta the building immediately. I actually don’t think turnover by itself is a bad thing, I think every coach propagates that it is for their own self interest and job security. There are literally hundreds of starving, talented, intelligent coaches who would kill for any of these jobs. If relegation existed in the nfl, the same coaching model would follow here. The giants problem isn’t that they fired 4 coaches in quick succession after coughlin, it’s that they hired 4 fucking losers in a row. It’s a hiring, not a firing problem. How are those guys all doing elsewhere? Mara’s issue isn’t that he meddles and makes bad moves and doesn’t money, it’s that he can’t fucking spot talented coaching to save his ass. He doesn’t know what it looks like.
Like….. seriously what the fuck was anyone expecting? I don’t even think it’s a “hindsight is 20/20” thing, the Russ signing was mocked across the league. Everyone predicted us in dead last. And here we are, in dead last.
