What’s going on, Jeromy homies? Beautiful Saturday. Birds are chirping and stuff. And it’s time for another Vikings news dump. So, uh, a little bit later news dump cuz, uh, you know, daddy was out winning the day, spreading the holiday cheer, Christmas spirits, all that stuff. Also, big time shout out to, uh, Jerome’s Jordan and Lindy. So, out and about last night. Good times, man. Uh, so Minnesota Vikings tomorrow. tomorrow with the commies ass tomorrow because communism has never worked in any way, shape, or form. No problem. But the Vikings against the commanders uh Vikings u art department, I don’t know. It’s looking good. But hey, is this is this foreshadowing for if and when we get Kyler Murray to compete with McCarthy? Is that is that what’s going on? Yeah. But either way, you know, it’s weird. So for Christmas, I I asked my kids if they would want a PS5, right? And they’re like 10 six and three, right? But 10 six like we have no interest. When I was a kid, if you told me you offered me the equivalent of a PS5 back then, so what was it? PlaySt Play PlayStation 2, I would have crapped my pants. But I don’t know. Uh it’s weird because I feel like some of the kids nowadays like they’re not into things that previous generations were into. So, video games maybe not as much. Yes, they’re on their tablets and their phones and all that stuff. Uh, alcohol not as much. Yeah, you know, drinking’s really gone down. It’s probably a good thing overall for society, but yeah. Anyways, uh, last injury report uh, is out and for the Vikings. So, two listed as out. Theo Jackson with a neck. Uh, Levi Drake Rodriguez also with a neck. You know, maybe got his his neck banged up in the whole stop in the tush bush last week. Ty Chandler, so he’s in his 21-day return to practice window. uh was limited full full uh list as questionable officially. I feel like that’s more procedural. Uh he could be activated and you know brought back to the 53. It’s good to see a nice little boost. Uh then you got Christian Darasaw even though he went from full DMP to full list as questionable. I think that’s more has to do the fact that he was out last week game time decision last week against Seattle. Uh I I would expect him to play on Sunday. Diamond Jackson a little bit more up in the air. uh DMP limited limited with his ankle. He’s listed as questionable. Uh Blake Brandle uh is out of concussion protocol and he would be ready to rock and roll at left guard if Jackson cannot go. Jay McCarthy has no injury designation. Was full all week. Ryan Kelly full full. Uh Aaron Jones was limited all week with a shoulder, but should be good to go because he has no injury designation. And then for the commies, uh really only a note, Bobby Wagner went from DNP DNP limited. He’s list questionable. has been the commies best defender this year. You know, the veteran has not missed the game since 2018. So, I I would expect him to go also going for the commies on Sunday. Uh rap sheet commanders quarterback Jaden Daniels has been fully cleared and will start on Sunday against the Vikings. Uh coach Dan Quinn just made it official, but Daniels being a full participant for the first time since a dislocated elbow on Thursday was the big hint. So, you got full two full days of practice is going to be a problem. Like Jaden Daniels is a stud. He he really is. and uh your throwing me should be fine. His mobility will be on point. So, it’s a big time challenge for Flores and the defense. But bring it. Bring it on, man. Also bringing it is annual December drive. So Sunday, uh, Purple Persuasion, a look at the Commanders Viking spread throughout the week. Vikings open this week as one and a half point underdogs home dog. Uh, when JJ McCarthy was announced he’d be back, the Vikings flipped to one and a half point favorites. So it’s interesting that McCarthy is worth a field goal. Maybe that’s because of what Bro Show looked like against Seattle. But again, I I don’t blame him at all, man. Uh then, um when Jane Daniels uh active and playing on Sunday, the Vikings are now back to one and a half point underdog. So, you’re telling me that Jane Daniels and Jay McCarthy at this stage of their career are both both worth a field goal. It’s kind of interesting. Uh they’ll head into the weekend as one and a half point home underdogs against a 3-9 Commanders team. Bring it. Right. Hey, three and nine commanders, four and eight Vikings. Get some. Catch the feeling. Yeah. uh for oh for entertainment purposes only. We we haven’t done the picks last two weeks, but uh Gestling uh he was on with Dan Barrerero nine to I know bumper to bumper uh but the Vikings have thrown interceptions 19 interceptions. They’re most since 2010 when they had 26 2010 was the the remnants of Bert Favore and TJack. I think there’s some Sage Rosells in there maybe. Uh they’re tied with 2013 pos uh ponder Castle Freeman and 2023 Dobs Mullins Hall after Cousins injury and they got five games to go. Uh the Vikings are plus one for the year in fumbles and minus 16 interceptions. That is some bad puck luck, man. The Vikings only Vikings defense only has three interceptions this year. Murf had six by himself last year. Uh but two by two picks by Matelis and then one by Isaiah Rogers just yeah their their minus 15 turnover differential is the worst in the NFL. I frankly the Vikings are lucky to be four and eight. It’s not great. It’s not good. But you know JJ McCarthy has a chance at redemption. Yes, in each of his last three starts, he’s thrown two picks. But I think the Vikings this time around, you know, Kevin McConnell letting JJ McCarthy play, let him loose. As well as the commies defense, the commies defense has gotten better since Dan Quinn started calling plays, but Bobby Wagner’s dinged up and their secondary certainly can get got. So, I I feel like this is a good Jefferson Addison get right spot. And frankly, if you know, McCarthy struggles, you know, can’t complete 50% of his passes and throws two plus picks again, I don’t know, like honestly, yes, this his seventh career start. Have some patience. But even if JJ goes on to tear these last five games, I still think the Vikings are bringing in veteran competition. I I I think Kyler makes a lot of sense. Um, you look at Tanner McKe, you look at M. Jones done up. But either way, like the Vikings cannot have the Cubby be bare like it was this year. You tried it with Sam Hollow didn’t work. Carson Wentz two days before the season. Nah. Nah. Fair. Uh, some other good news from 2024 draft picks is from Sports Illustrated Will Raggets. Diamond Dallas Turner has 12 pressures, four sacks, and two force fumbles over the past three weeks. He doesn’t turn 23 until February. So that’s why even when Turner was sort of whatever last year, it’s like, okay, he’s literally a 21-year-old learning the NFL game, just like McCarthy, 22 years young, learning the NFL game in seventh career start this week. The only other player in Vikings history with a three-game sack streak at age 22 or younger is Denil, the real deal Hunter, who did twice in his first couple seasons with a sack of Jane Daniels on Sunday to extend his streak to four. Turner could claim that record for himself. By the way, Denil Hunter still looking really damn good, right? And I I know the scheme shift, plus how weird is it to watch Denil Hunter drop into coverage and Granard is a better fit for the current scheme and I fully understand it. But there’s just something about 99, man. 43 close to the field, hand of the dirt defensive end, just getting up field, getting after it. I’ll always love Denil. You you can never make me hate Daniel Hunter, man. Ever. Ever. Uh, speaking of hate hate the Pro Bowl, but Pro Bowl is still a good career achievement. It’s also good for contract negotiations. So, Pro Bowl vote right now. Uh, Ryan Wright put this out for the specialists. Andrew Paula, all pro long snapper, which I can never tell a good long snapper, but I can tell you a bad long snapper, right? Uh, will the throw rocker. with the rocker. Franklin has been the best kicker in the NFC. Should be getting some Pro Bowl love, but apparently he’s not. Uh Ryan Wright has had a beautiful bounceback season. Uh would ideally like to bring him back for next year. Miles Price, you know, had a couple missteps in there, but overall has been huge for the Vikings return game. And also I I I I would rather I would rather hang out in a box full of snakes. Why has it got to be snakes? then vote for Taviar Thomas. Uh things have not been good. Yeah. Yeah. Also, so the you fed the Pittsburgh media jackals. Yeah. What’s the word that the Pittsburgh yins yins? Yeah. Because Philadelphia is John and Pittsburgh says yins all the time. Vox fan page. Steelers wide receiver Adam Thelen says leaving Minnesota was extremely tough and really wore on him mentally. Felen also says at the moment that this year feels like his last year, but anything can change. He’s not gonna watch. He’s he’s not going to retire now because he didn’t end up on a contender. And the Ravens are going to beat the Steelers on Sunday, even without Lamar. And it’ll just be over. Like, yeah, Theo might get like seven targets from 42-year-old Aaron Rogers. But Oh, no. Watch watch. Actually, screw it. Just go go go do it. Rogers, free agent, signs with the Vikings. He’s going to be 43 next season to compete with JJ McCarthy and then the just magically ends up back on the Vikings. I I would actually be okay with that because I I just like the nonsense drama. Also, so I I know the Mattelis has two picks this year and he’s been fighting the good fight, but it just seems since he got the extension, there’s been a lack of explosive plays. Now, you could say that about the whole defense. Yes. And you know, maybe we’re singling out Matelis and being hard on FO, but I don’t know, just more is required. All right. And Matelus is a team captain, team leader, and he has to be right there on the edge, man. So, we do need more from Matelis. Also, Theo Jackson’s out this week. Harrison Smith is noticeably slowing down. So, I mean, Mattelis has got to be that dude, right? And also, tell he does great with Telles and Mattelis. Like, I’ll always love 96 questions. That still be 1A, but 1B, Telus Mattel is good. So, you know, they talk about minimum effort versus princess treatment uh of your significant others and prioritizing stuff. Justin Jefferson like like some big romantic stuff. It’s good. I I would say it really is more All right. So, like long-term relationships really more is a is about a partnership, right? Because you Yeah, you you got that love right away that burns hot and fast. You know, they they can burn out, right? Just every single day, infatuation every single day, you know, champagne, caviar. I mean, it’s not particularly realistic, but what it really comes down to is pick someone who first off loves you for you. Because there there’s so many times and you’re thinking about situations like this from your own life, right? Where you you meet someone and you you want to impress them so bad that you put on fake errors. Like you you’re not yourself. you’re what you’re you’re doing what you think that they want you to be to be accepted, right? Except the problem is then if this thing continues, then you have to keep up that facade for a long time. Now, if it’s a short-term relationship, uh that’s fine, right? But humans aren’t really wired for that. You know, I feel like a long-term connection is going to lead to a better quality of life. So just being yourself and also making sure that the other party knows that they can be themselves around you because let’s be honest here like everyone thinks about roses and vacations and and and diamond rings and jewelry and all all that stuff and like that’s romance. No, that that’s the hallmark Valentine’s Day version of romance. You know what’s romantic? sitting at home watching your favorite TV show, having your favorite dinner together, and like farting under a blanket. And that may sound crass, but that was that’s 100% what what people are looking for, man. Yeah. And like romantic stuff, just anticipate each other’s needs, you know? Like I I cook uh most around the house. Um and we all sort of have our own like roles and niches and just making the other person’s life a little bit easier. I feel like that’s a love language. Absolutely. Also, ju just making my wife’s favorite dishes when I know it’s been a trying day. It’s a pretty good love language, too. All right. And since this is a family show, we’re not even getting into like all the other things, which is like service level stuff. Um, yeah, it’s good to go. I I I like that they did this, but also talking about love when you’re on a four-game losing streak. I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I don’t know. How about like can we get some Braveheart stuff like like taking the field of battle? They may take our lives, but the the three and nine commies will never take our freedom or something like that.
