Best Mavs win of the season.
AD with a huge bounce back game on both ends of the floor. Nice to see a few really solid games from him going into this mini break. We’ll just ignore the OKC game 😉.
I was really concerned about PJ coming back and how that would impact both him and Cooper Flagg. I’ve mentioned before that we need the PJ from the Finals run that really provided excellent 3 point shooting especially in the corners and not the PJ we’ve been seeing last year and to start this season.
Even though PJ is now a better player than when he first arrived, we don’t need him to get several touches at the elbow or in the paint with both AD and Flagg playing. Excellent sign tonight with PJ shooting 7 threes and really proving spacing for AD and Flagg to dominate.
Cooper Flagg is one of the best 40 players in the NBA at 18. He’s averaging 21.5 points the last 6 games and the Mavs are 4-2 in that span. Flagg is much more comfortable being a focal point of the offense and he’s becoming even more disruptive on defense. I’ve never seen a player improve generally every time he plays like Flagg.
Everyone is now in their proper roles and the entire roster is benefiting. Thought Nembhard was damn good again. BWill and Naji played excellent as well. MFFL.

You don’t ”outduel” your teammate… The should be five who just scored more than 7 points below Luka’s average while, as a should be 5, pulled down less rebounds than Luka’s average did infact score more points than an 18 year old who is the future of the franchise after the historical fuck up that got us stuck with AD2d. No awards for that.
Is it a good thing that Street Clothes shows up every now and then to take touches away from Flagg? I’d say no. The showcase should be over, get AD2d on the market and get rid of him ASAP before he hurts himself again.
