Top 20 Postseason Performers of 2025! (Ft. Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani, Ernie Clement & MORE!)

Cam Slitler in this must-win game three. Swing and a miss. He has been dominant tonight and he is also gone chasing. Just getting right after it. And the dream opportunity is turning into legendary stuff for Cam Schlitler. This guy is turning into a rookie hero for the Yankees. There it is. A dirty dozen for Slitler as Gonzalz is gone. An incredible night here at the stadium for the Yankees. Two down, base is empty. Four nothing Yankees. Top eight. And Story a one pitch grounded to Vi. He retired nine in a row. He struck out 12. And on the national stage, a star is born. Nico, this is his game. I mean, he’s able to hit pitches out of the zone, find a way just to get enough. Horner’s into second with a double and they’re going crazy at the confine. See you later. Way back there and gone and a leafy Nicoer. Nico Horner says that’s two down. Nicoer playing a little bit of wall ball. It’s a great contact hitter. Nice drive base down the right field line up the middle from her. He has another base hit. Nice piece of hitting by Nico. Freddy Freeman in these postseason games. Just money every year. World Series MVP last year. They champ for Freddy Freeman. And Freddy Freeman sends one out of here. A rain maker to right field in a tie game. Freeman comes through again. Locked at four. To the bottom of the 18th inning. Will it ever end? We don’t know at this point. 1150 in Los Angeles. Freddy Freeman leading off against the lefty Brendan Little. In the big games, in the big spots, you can always trust him. Sends a fly ball to center field. Baro’s going back before the stretch. Freddy Freeman has ended it. It’s a repeat hero with the last word of the game three classic. Freddy Freeman, Mr. The World Series ends the marathon at midnight. Michael Bush, one of the hottest hitters on the planet. Deep right field. This ball’s got a chance. Gone. Michael Bush. Goodbye. Bush clears the Ivy. And they’re going crazy at the confines. Michael Bush continues his late season assault. Could you be any hotter than Michael Bush right now? Nothing like turning the wind around. Michael Bush a lead off bomb once again against a right-handed pitcher. I’ll take Michael Bush over anybody else in the league. In a postseason where Chicago has not seen reliable offense, Michael Bush delivers. There’s a high fly ball deep right center back toward the wall. It’s got a chance. Gone. Michael Bush has done it again. Number four for BCH in the postseason. He is just as hot as you can get. Cal with 60 home runs on the season. The modernday man. Let’s see if he can keep it going here in the postseason. I think he can. Raleigh is first of the playoffs and it’s 8 to1 Seattle. They are feeling it. Man, he’s some kind of strong. Cal Raleigh drives in another run for the Mariners today. Cal is, as we know, he’s more than just a slugger. He really has started to turn himself into a hitter this year. High drive right field. Cal Raleigh has connected. Cal Raleigh. Oh, Canada. It’s the big dumper when the Mariners need him most. Cal has invaded Canada again. That is a moment. A monster blast by Cal Rolley. Did he get enough? He did. Goodbye baseball. Then to Edgar Cantino. Holy smoke. The historic season continues into the postseason. Big dumper. Biggest swing. Game five tied. Cal Ry. He has homered in game seven. He has stung the Blue Jays yet again. This guy’s amazing. And a silent hush over nearly 50,000 inside Rogers Center. Well, in a game seven situation, you want your stars to be stars. Cal does it again. Good golly, Cal Raleigh. Andre Munoz. Fans in Seattle have come to know him for his 98 mph fast ball. Hence the nickname Seenor Smoke back towards Munoz. He makes the catch and Meadows cannot believe it. Self-defense lighter right back at him to miss him. A wicked slider lets out a yell and so does everyone in this building. But he’s been as good as any closer in baseball. down the right field line. Naylor makes the catch, doubles it off, and that’s the ball game. Muno stares down the side from Cal down the stretch. Flag going to a miss with a slider. Strike three. That’s going to retire the side. One, two, three, go. The Tigers. The Seattle Mariners retired 23 of the last 24. Swinging a shot off the top of the bone in behind second. JP the throw to first. Lo, but it’s picked in time by Naylor and it’s over. Andre Munoz, a dynamite performance. How the hell did they turn Roki Suzaki into Mariano Rivera? His stuff has been unbelievable. And you know, one thing I see from him on the line, he knows he’s better than that’s a win for LA. The Dodgers are going to the National League Division Series. And Roki Sasaki with his first major league save opportunity. And Sasaki slam the door to steal game one of the division series. And what a job by Roki Sasaki to come in with the game on the line and lock it down against Trey Turner. Game two is a credit to Sn and Roi. They were just unhitable at times. One, two, three for Sasaki. Nine in a row for Roki and the Los Angeles Dodgers have won the National League pennet. They found a closer Sasaki nails down his fourth save of this postseason. Three outs in the eighth inning. Roki Sasaki. He bent, but he did not break. This is now the guy that has really solidified that bullpen. It sounds crazy, but he could be their most valuable player. My MVP is Josh Naylor. Josh Naylor. Oh man, he’s played really good. Naylor having a good series, having a good October. Bouncing ball to Naylor. Flips and finishes. What a play by Josh Naylor sprawling to get that. When I spoke with Josh the other day, he said, “It’s it’s like a little kid moment for me that I get to play these games in Toronto.” Goodbye. Third home run of the game for the Mariners, blasting their way through game two. Josh Naylor goes deep and the Mariners are on the board first. Josh Naylor grabs one back. A solo home run in the sixth inning. The Mariners are on the board. If there is a guy in this lineup you can count on to give him the simple big base hit, it would be Josh Naylor. Doc Naylor looking to beat in every in every aspect of the game. Josh Naylor and Suarez. If they’re not on this team, they don’t win this series in the position they’re in. Naylor has been their best hitter. This guy’s better than a lot of guys that’ll ever get on the bump. And he strikes out the side in the seventh inning. Oh, he’s fired up. Look at him. Looks like he just started the game. Five strikeouts in a row. Eight of the last nine. Ace performance. This guy’s been absolutely incredible all year. 14 strikeouts for Scooble. That’s a miss. But Scubble’s the difference maker of the series. Absolutely dominant. 112 in a row knocked down by Scooble. Strikeout number 12. And TKO. Pure nitro to take down Raleigh and finish off the sixth. One of the best hitters in the game against one of the best pitchers in the game. And Scooble on top on that one. And look at him get everybody fired up. 34 strikeouts in his first four postseason starts, tied for fourth most in MLB history. He leads the AL in fielding independent pitching. Terrick Scuba was phenomenal. Jackson Shurio to lead things off for the Brewers. Up the left field line. The sliding double for Jackson Cheurio to lead things off in the bottom of the first. Shurio laces this one into left field and the hit parade continues. Two more come home. Cheerio with a drive way back there and gone. A threerun shot from Jackson Cheerio. That kid is built for October. Swing line drive in left center field. PCA dives. He can’t get it. Churio is on his way to second base. Here comes the throw and it’s late. So Cheurio just continues to hit in the postseason and the first pitch of the bottom of the first inning on the way and a fly ball into right. This has hit a ton. It is back. It is out of here. The lights are never too bright for the 21-year-old Jackson Cheerio. Incredible. Tyler Glasnau has not allowed a home run on his last 575 curve balls. Glasnau wipes him out by Great pitching here once you got to two strikes. The result almost unhitable. Cut on and miss. Strike three. High heat for Glastnut. And a swing down a miss. He got him on a curve. Just a terrific curve ball right there. Oh, strike three. Dropped the hammer on him. One, two, three, third for Tyler G. Now postseason’s always a guy we’re not talking about. Jorge Palano is the wingman. It’s the big dumper and Julio Rodriguez. Jorge Palano is owning October for the Mariners. Well, Palanco did versus school and be the best pitcher on the planet. You can’t underestimate that impact. Jorge Palanco has his second of the game. This place erupts. He’s also had the talent to where every now and then he’s going to have days like this to where he puts the team on his back and carries him along the way. Jorge Palano has been huge all postseason long. I think we’re slipping on how special this guy is. Jorge Palano has delivered again. Playoff Palanco is my favorite. Palanco, this is unbelievable. Jorge Palano huge bounceback year. Never bigger than he’s been lately. Jorge Palanco, Mr. October. I don’t think we’re done seeing electric moments from him. And now the Mariners have the bases loaded with one out. Palanco with one swing could end the series. Mariners looking to move on to the ALCS. Palanco sends it away and will send Seattle to the American League Championship Series for the first time in 24 years. The Mariners win the battle in Seattle 15 days. They will remember this night and that swing forever. Aaron Judge, does he have something to prove this postseason? One last box for him to check. Big October shaped box and he said, “I want this bird. This comes with the territory. This is what I signed up for.” The most unfair part of baseball is the postseason is the last impression. way to the pinstripe Chevy. And hopefully we’re going to see a lot of regular season Aaron Judge here in the postseason. Sets the table for Aaron Gilich. Judge keeps on hitting out of his mind. Strong at bat after a strong at bat to start his postseason. And Judge is not yet hitting for power, but he is getting on base. The amount of pressure this guy drives to the yard with every day. But Aaron Judge is doing his job, man. There’s a buzz in the building when Judge comes to the plate. Aaron Judge bruises another baseball. I mean, the numbers right now off the charts, but he still needs that breakthrough moment. The captain coming to the plate, the tying run at home plate. Judge with another chance to make his mark. It’s a drive down the line who experiences moment. It is. Judge has arrived. This place has waited for this for his full time this year, last year, year before. I think everyone in the tri-state area should all rise. They should get to their feet and honor this man. Certainly George Springer has been big time in the playoffs. George Springer having a heck of a year. He really is. What a bounceback year for him. The Blue Jays have found their culture and one of their leaders being George Springer. George Springer is the toughest dude going. Springer’s first hit 10 of the postseason is a home run and on the first pitch George Springer lights the fire. His extra base impact continues. George Springer is in the starting lineup for game seven leading off and dhing. He’s in the lineup and there’s no secret that he’s not 100%. And this is who he is. He loves doing these types of things. Ambushing on first pitches. It doesn’t matter if it’s to right. It doesn’t matter if it’s to left. and all of a sudden he hits that home run and you’re thinking, “Oh goodness, here we go again.” Good. A springer dinger. 43 Blue Jays in the bottom of the seven. And that is the best moment in sports I have ever seen. In October, there’s players saving seasons that we really didn’t know were ever going to factor in. Addison Barger a postseason for the ages. Addison Barger in his home state absolutely destroys a solo home run. The depth of this lineup they’re all firing on all cylinders right now. Blue on the go first. Barger on the run makes a diving catch and Addison Barger having the time of his life out there. Roaming right field. Big fly Addison Barger and the Blue Jays double their advantage. They’re up four nothing in the third. Barger leading the way. It’s all coming from the bottom of the order. Bond in to face the pinch hitter Barger. Barger sends a towering drive right center field. Kiss it goodbye. A grand slam. Addison Barger blows this game wide open. And there’s your first pinch hit grand slam in World Series history. How about Ernie Clement? To me, he just embodies this Blue Jays team. He’s been an incredible player. Not just a role player. He’s an everyday big leader. The first pitch hit high. Left field and deep. Bellinger racing back. That ball is gone. Two homer. Ernie Clement. He can beat you in a variety of ways, but he’s looking to put the ball in play, move it around, drive runners in. He’s he’s the unsung hero when you talk about the the Toronto Blue Jays. I mean, this dude just keeps raking and raking. He’ll easily get into second with a first pitch leadoff double. Swinging a liner headed to right down for a base hit. Ernie Clement with an RBI single in that bottom half the lineup for the Blue Jays. I think he’s a huge part of it and it’s going to be a big part of their success. Swatted to right center field. Base hit for Clement. And Toronto’s taken the lead. He is an X factor for them and he has been throughout this postseason. He’s been outstanding for this Blue Jays lineup. He’s doing it too by being aggressive, swinging early in the count. Clement his way through. Ernie Clement delivers again. This guy just continues to come through in big situations. He’s becoming an absolute star during the postseason. Clement drives it left center field. Smoked double from Ernie Clement. Who would have thought Ernie Clement would be as good as he has been for the Toronto Blue? Cor just will not stop. His 30th hit of this postseason. The new record. October baseball continues from Rogers Center. The Blue Jays with a one- nothing lead in the ALDS. Making just his fourth career start in the majors. Trey Yavage will pitch in a pivotal playoff game for the Blue Jays. started this season in a ball. He said, “I think I’ve met everybody in the organization already this year, climbing each rung of the ladder. He’s 6’4, extreme over the top arm angle, highest release point in the major. It’s hard to find anybody to compare to this.” And I know he says that he’s built for this and he’s ready, but I got to imagine there’s some crazy butterflies going on. We are all just kind of over the moon and and how these young guys can come up and have such success so quick. He does a few things that create such deception and the stuff is so good. It’s like here’s my stuff. You can hit it or you can’t. Go get him, young ser. Swinging a miss. Strike three. Good start as he punches out Bishop with the splitter. His best pitch. Swing and a miss. And that splitter nose dives to get Bellinger. Andy swings at a splitter in the dirt. Three strikeouts in the top of the first. Make it four strikeouts in five batters for Trey Savage. The Yankees all out of shorts. He is just pounding that strike zone. Swinging a miss. Unreal. He’s looking for a six consecutive K. Swinging a miss. Strike three. Complete utter dominance. 11 in five hitless innings for Trey Savage. What a performance. 44,000 on their feet. He was unhitable. He just gave them a world of problems. One of the greatest rookie performances I’ve ever seen. And Toronto was going nuts. He seems to have the makeup to be someone who won’t be faced by what is a monumental moment like this. They need a dominant performance to shorten the gap. 94 in the knees. Gavage punches out the Mariners. Swinging him at strike three just like he’s done so many times today already. Makes a big pitch in a big spot. He got him. Struck him out on a splitter. Paul elected 22 away. Sparkling for you Savage. How about Trey Savage? He was a savage in this one. Just 22 years old. This kid started the season in single A ball. Worked his way all the way up through the rankings. This kid was pitching in college last year and now he’s asked to save and hold on to Toronto season and force a game seven. Just a couple of moments away from game five of the World Series. This is going to be a fun one, so stick with us. What can we expect from Trey Yavage? Will it be Trey B? This will be his first road start this October. Doesn’t look like he’s scared out there at all. I don’t know if he’s scared of anything to be honest. He got him. Struck him out on a slider. One, two, three for your Savage in the first. Trey Savage strikes out this side. We are looking at a true World Series prodigy. He has set a new record for a rookie pitcher. 34 strikeouts in one postseason. 10ks in five innings for Trey Savage. He’s shredding right now in game five. It’s getting ridiculous at this point. There’s a dozen for Savage. 12 strikeouts sets the single game rookie record in the World Series. The World Series Masterpiece. He went out there had the game of his life. How is he 22 years old? How was that his eighth major league start and his poise and composure off the charts. It has been a wild ride for Tri. A star is born this blue season. Really? Could be the greatest baseball player of all time. The numbers, it’s crazy. what he’s doing. He can be whoever he wants. I know any year. The power is always on display. Every time he steps in the batters box, the game can change. It’s power against power. Off we go. Turns on a ball. Shi Alani kicks off the postseason with a bang. It’s a towering ball. He flips the bed and watches it fly. His second home run. This is Show Otani’s first ever postseason start. Swing and a miss. Strike three. comes off the mound screaming and pumping his fist. Simply no one like him in Major League Baseball. I mean, he just has the ability to change a game with one swing. Do something you’ve never seen before in one moment. Lighting up the highlights already. It’s a leadoff home run after he struck out three in the top of the first. Oh my goodness. Wow. Up and over the roof. Strikes out swinging. He’s up to 10. Show Otani. The stuff of legend. One of the alltime performances in Major League Baseball history. The National League Championship Series. Most valuable player goes to the best player on this planet, Show Otani. No one else can do this. Everyone sit down and just enjoy. It doesn’t even make sense. Mouths are a gate. And I think he’s got an axe to grind with the World Series. Didn’t show his best performance. Think there’s a lot on the line. Sky scraping home run from Shi Otani. Fourth home run the last two games. It down the line and it’s a double for start this game. She’s gone. Postseason home run number seven for number 17. This ball is going to get down. RBI double. Show Otani. We got a one-run game in game three. Show Otani is three for three tonight. Two doubles and a home run. Here he is. Seems like he always delivers when the moment calls for it. Center cut fast one it stays on one. Hits two homers. Gets on base nine times. He’s too good. Flips one to left center field for a one out standup double on the ground right side and through. His second hit of game seven. To beat the champ, you got to knock him out. The Dodgers stand tall. Once in forever. Show Otani. October baseball is back at Roger and the fans get loud. So, if the Jays are going to make a run, they got to get more than they’ve gotten lately from Guerrero, who’s not homered in a month. It’s out of here. The first career postseason home run for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. And he is back in October 4. And the Blue Jays have been waiting for that. Swinging a deep drive. That ball is soaring out of here. A grand slam. Hit yourself all you want. You will not wake up from this dream right now. He’s now six for seven with two homers, six RBI’s, and a curtain call as he fires up the fans. He’s done it again. Unbelievable this guy. He has homered in all three games of this postseason. Vlatty, unreal. Stars got a star when it’s on the line, right? He has answered the bell. He’s all out, full tilt all the time. And he’s been pretty good on the other side of the scorecard, too. Diving catch. Lenny, that was a tremendous play. What a series Vlad Jr. had. Dominated four games against the Yankees. He’s carried a lot since he got here. Hope in the expectations, but specifically into this postseason. That’s off the wall. Vlad is doubled. Shouts into that dugout. First pitch of the fifth. Glad Junior launches a solo shot. Four for four single, two doubles, a homer. He looks locked in. Glad Jr. strikes again with his fifth home run of the postseason. No Blue Jay has ever hit more home runs in a playoff run than Vladimir Guerrero Jr. It almost looks too easy for him. Swing and a laser. Good. For game seven, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. came to play yet again. The ALCS most valuable player, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. I don’t know the last time I saw a guy this time of year look this. Guerrero Jr. is introducing himself to the entire world on the big stage that he’s a superstar. It is gone. Brad Jr. gives the Jays the lead. The franchise face putting the team on his back. What a game for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. showing all facets of his game. Vlad rocks the ball. It is good again. What in the world are we watching right now? 96 mph heater. He smoked it out to left 400 ft. Yes, he has been Vlad to the bone this postseason. Vlad Jr. is more than a slugger. Vladimir Guerrero is a bonafide superstar and what he did in this postseason is one of the best postseasons in the history of the game. Welcome to October. The D is trying to close out this series in a hurry and they send out Dashovo Yamamoto. He’s no longer trying to figure out who he is. He knows. Oh, he is one of the best pitchers in the National League. That’s who he is. We’ll see how he performs here tonight. Swing and a miss. Yamamoto gets the strike out. Yamamoto in control. He is set down 13 straight. Strike out number nine. Once again, the location. I mean, this is ridiculous. And he exits to the Roars. These are the results you were hoping for and dare I say expected. Strike three swinging. Yamamoto wipes him out. You don’t know where it’s going. Frozen with a fast ball at the knees at 97. He got a perfect splitter from Yamamoto. puts up another zero. Impeccable command all night long. Well, you can’t walk it to home plate and place it any better than that. Strike three, swinging. Yoshiu Yamamoto goes the distance in game two. And Yamamoto stands tall on this night in Milwaukee. And then to watch Yamamoto take apart Milwaukee with splitties, heaters, breaking balls, everything sharp. Coming off the first complete game in the postseason in eight years. Yoshino Yamamoto. What does he have for an encore? And how about that from Yamamoto? Throws him with a curveball. 97 at the knees. He sits him down. He strikes out the side in the eight. He has retired 16 consecutive Blue Jays. Yoshino Yamamoto complete and utter dominance yet again. Back-to- back complete games in the postseason. World Series mastery. Yoshinobu Yamamoto Dodgers season on the line. He struck him out. Unreal. He’s resetting that bar for himself. Losing isn’t an option and Yamamoto delivered on his promise again. The Dodgers have forced game seven. Yamamoto wins. 24 hours after starting and winning game six. Ready to do some heroic stuff. We’re going to extra innings. A Yamamoto miracle in the ninth. Yamamoto hardly sweating. The Dodgers stand tall. Yoshu Yamamoto, legendary star, wins three games in this World Series. Yoshu Yamamoto, the MVP of the World Series. Yamamoto’s the goat. He’s the goat. This is herculean stuff. This isn’t normal. This isn’t what mortals can do. You’re not supposed to do this.
