GET UP | “Everyone’s WRONG about Bears: They are REAL” – Greeny reacts Caleb Williams sinks Eagles

Once Chicago finished the game with 281 yards on the ground, which is the most the Eagles have allowed in a game since 2015. Translation, it’s it’s time to call Chicken Little, right? I don’t think something big needs to change. Um, you know, the sky’s falling out out outside the locker room. Uh, we understand that. Um, but I have nothing but the most confidence in the men in this locker room, players and coaches included. Um, and it’s going to take all of us. It’s going to take all of us to come together. Uh, block out the noise. Can’t be pointing fingers all looking internally because everybody, you know, is contributing to the way we’re playing right now. Literally, every singlebody. Um, and we all got to play better. It’s never just about one person, right? You can’t you win as a team, you lose as a team, and you try to evaluate everything. Um, win, lose, or draw and and get better from it. We got to definitely stay together. definitely stay together and stay committed to what the team is trying to accomplish in the end. It’s it’s you know, no one never said it was going to be easy. Um, and we’ve got to we got to embrace the challenge. We got to embrace this this this time and respond to it the right way. All right, Tim Hassbec joins us now for a little postth Thanksgiving uh perspective. So, the Bears pounding the ground, Tim, in ways that they haven’t seen since the days of the legendary Walter Payeyton. How are they able to be so effective against that Eagles defense? Yeah, Ben Johnson gets all this credit for being creative, finding ways to throw the football, but the reality is is they just got after him up front. You know, they have creativity in their run game, but they also just do a good job of moving people. Here’s a good example. DJ Moore is in the back field. He’s going to run split zone. So, what they do here is just wind him back. And by doing that, you see the movement that they get in the in the front side and he’s off and running to the second and third level. Now they’re going to get Cole KT. They’re going to motion him back into the back field. And now it’s a wham play. You’re just going to like bring KT back to the defensive tackle that gets the guard up to the linebacker level players. And again, it’s swift and look at the lanes to run the football just pouring it downhill. When you are doing things like that, you get both backs over 200 yards. And now down near the goal line, just inside zone run play. Look at the movement. They say score with your man when you get down near the five. That’s basically what the Bears were doing. So yeah, a lot of creativity, a lot of fun plays, you know, often times when you watch the Bears, but sometimes there isn’t anything better than just lining up, moving the guy in front of you. That’s what the Bears did to the Eagles. Yep. And going all the way back to Walter Payton when they actually won the Super Bowl back in the 1980s. That’s exactly what they were doing at the offensive line. Let’s flip it though to the Eagles now because they’ve looked like anything but the defending champs these last couple of games. They played so bad in fact that they even got booed at home. What do you think of Cirran’s decision to go for that two-point conversion? Yeah, that didn’t make any sense to me. You know, Philadelphia had been struggling. and Chicago had really been handling the game and you score and you have an opportunity to keep it a one-sore game by kicking the extra point. You basically don’t want to go for two until you absolutely have to because it remains a one-sore game. And there was plenty of time left on the clock. They had all their timeouts. There was an opportunity to really put the pressure on Chicago on the road. Um, you know, in a windy night to say, “Okay, yeah, you’ve got to get the, you know, the first down in order um, you know, to put the game away.” But by going for two, failing to get it, it then is a two-point game and then or sorry, two-score game. And it just takes so much pressure off of the Chicago Bears in terms of executing a four-minute drive. Yeah. Maybe just all that drama internal, external, whatever it is, is starting to impact some of the decision-making there for Nick Serriiani. And yeah, not a good look and the fans booing them also not a good look. Tim Hassel back here on 12 and a half passing yards, more or less. Well, I’m going to say more. Now, the one thing the Chicago Bears do is they get the football right. They turn the ball over, but I expect Kevin Tapulo Patulo to push this pass game early and often against the Chicago Bears. Bartholomew Caleb Williams one and a half passing touchdowns more or less. I can’t see it. But I think this Philadelphia defense is elite and I think last week was just an outlier. I think with the addition of Phillips and his ability to rush the pass to Jaylen Carter, I think it’s just too much for this Bears offense to handle on a consistent basis. And then RC Squan such a quiet season 78 12 rushing yards more or less. You know what I think less, right? I think this team is going to rely on the pass game and Saquon Barkley and this offensive line just haven’t been on the same page. And also the reluctancy to get into the zone read and give Jaylen Herz a part of this run game I feel has hurt Saquon Barkley as well. All right, so if you like those picks that were parlay, we’ve put them together on the ESPN bat sportsbook app. Look for the more or less featured parlay on the homepage and in the parlay lounge. We put the picks up on the screen. We’re going to find out about a lot about both teams today. If the Eagles lose, they feel a little bit in freef fall. If the Bears lose, then I think people will will immediately feel like they have their biases confirmed, like they’re not really that good. No, I think the Bears are a good football team. I think the Bears are playing complimentary football. The Bears have found their franchise quarterback, and the Bears have their coach of the future. I just believe the Eagles understand the stakes of today’s game and understand how important this is to win, especially with the Cowboys playing that well. You you think attacking the the Bears through the air deep is the way to go because they’re getting healthier at quarterback, right? Jaylen Johnson, Kyler Gordon, and they got no linebackers at all. Their top three, four linebackers are are hurting. Well, you attack them. Well, I say the other piece of it is too, you put them in the pass game as well because I do believe a large piece of what’s happening with the run game is not winning on the line of scrimmage. The levels I don’t have the Bears making the playoffs. I’m just going to keep it real. So, everyone like and you’re you speak for a lot of people. A lot of people expect them to fall completely off a cliff. We’ll see. And then of course we get to spend Black Friday playing America’s favorite game. Let’s dissect the Eagles offense and make every single play a referendum on everything. J Brown, Devonte Smith, and Jaylen Herz. Yet they enter the game ranked 24th in yards per game, a little over 300. 23rd in passing, less than 194. 21st in rushing, 110. 18th in points, 23.2. The Eagles are averaging 15 and a half points over their last four games. Today, the Eagles only ran 51 total plays to 85 by the Bears. They spotted on third down. They were four of 12 against Chicago’s defense that ranked 27th heading into week 13. Oo. Yeah. Hold on. Go ahead. Hey, chat. Hold on. Let me turn my lights on so you can see me. Nick Seriani stood by Kevin Patula after the game saying he will not change play callers. We are not changing the play callers, but we will evaluate everything. It’s never just been about one person. You win as a team, you lose as a team, and you try to evaluate everything and win, lose, or draw and get better from it. I have confidence in this entire group. I know we’ll keep coming back to Kevin. If I thought it was one thing, I make those changes. Obviously, it has a lot of different things. I don’t think it’s Kevin. Hey, hey, hey, let me let me tell you something. Hey, chat, listen to me real quick. If you have a car, right? If you have a car, unk, and your car is not working right and you go to get service now, everything else is going right except one thing. Everything is going going right except one thing. And the rest of the world could see. Stevie Wonder could see what the problem is with the offense, right? You know, I mean, what is Serriani looking at? Or or or is he being politically correct and saving saving face and not saying what the actual problem is with the offense? Obviously, we can all see it’s the play calling. It’s been the play calling for a very long time. Everyone can see it. Those that play the game of football and those that are just fans of the game itself, if you’re actually watching the the play calling again today, there were some plays that I was able to call out. I don’t even play for the Eagles. I just watched the games and I can tell what is going to be ran. It’s too predictable. It’s too he up on the lefth hand side outside. What is he running chat? He’s going deep. He going deep. He’s going deep. He’s going deep. It’s the I mean it’s the same. It’s the same thing over and over week to week. There’s really no creativity to their offense. Now before when your offensive line was was healthy when everybody was healthy, Lane Johnson was in there. Mai what was big boy name? Mai Beckton. Yeah. When Mai Beckton was there, they were they were a dominating force up front. The passing game was so good week to week. And AJ Brown and Devonte Smith were able to go off the way they were able to go off was because they were able to run the ball at will every single game. You take that element away, the element of not being able to be balanced, not being able to do both things. This is what you get. Okay? You take away the run game. Now the onus is on the offensive coordinator. Now, I have to be a little a little bit more creative because some of the things we did last year aren’t working. So, what do I need to do offensively? I gotta manipulate the formations. I got to show things that are different than what everyone has already seen on film that they’ve studied. But no, everything has been very generic, very bland, you know, for the for for the lack of better words. and everything is caught up to you as a team. A team coming off a Super Bowl win. You have to evolve. You’re not going to win games the same way you won them last year. Don’t tell don’t tell the Eagles fans that because they told me they’re going to do just what they did last year. Now, somebody that won backtoback championships and know you have to evolve. But I I Hey, I don’t argue with Eagle fans because if you start to argue with Eagle fans, they going to say, you know what they say, oo, you just against the black man. So, I just let it go. It’s just another case of the manage holding us down. So, I said, “Okay, y’all know more than me. I’m going to let y’all have it.” But, okay. Win the Super Bowl like you wanted last year. Wait, hold on. Say what they say. They going to say what you against who? Jaylen Herz. Oh, now we ain’t want to talk about We ain’t going to talk about that. That one he threw to He threw that was a man. That was man and Devonte Smith kept going and he threw it behind him on third down. But that’s my fault. Why you point that out? Josh Allen had that same play three years ago. You ain’t mentioned it, right? Can I can I ask you a question? Yes. Will we make an excuse because of the elements, because of the wind? Will that will would that play a factor in this in in in in the throws in this? So the Bears one playing on a

  3. Crazy how much hate Bears get. So we beat the Eagles because they played bad, not the fact that we outplayed them. Bears beat the BEST part of their defense. Eagles run defense is one of the best and the Bears came straight at them.

  4. Bears are beating teams when they're coming off losses and dealing with inside bs. Let them play a team thats winning and not dealing with any issues, and you'll see how good they really are.

  5. 8-3 saying not making the playoffs lol Idk why they give these CTE riddled players analyst jobs. How about now Bart scott. Dont know shit but how to chase a ball

  6. Whoever made the schedule this year did right by us. They allowed the bears to build cohesion and chemistry with the new coach and revamped oline now our run game going just in time to see bout those cheese head packers. Them BOYS ain’t gon know what hit em come next Sunday we gonna cook parsons on offense. I’m thinking we pack em out both times we play em BUT if we had to split I hope we smoke em right in LAMBEAU stadium. Ain’t no more bearing down, BEARS UP BABYYY!!!
