And bill guerin still won’t even consider DeBrincat for team USA
The offense is alright
Our stars have played well. If only the bottom 6 would start scoring more frequently.
This just shows how good we’d be if we had literally any depth at all. Yzerman needs to add actual good depth players for once to help this team out.
DeBrincat has definitely improved his defensive game since arriving in Detroit, too. He’s had a handful of plays this season where he’s back-checking his bootie off.
Now just to get Kasper going or acquire a good 2C in the right age range, and some more secondary scoring from Finnie, Danielson, Edvinsson, and ASP.
DeBrincat has become one of my top 3 favorite Red Wings. I might have to add his name to my FAP even though I have a premium stadium jersey of his haha
It’s dirty of me to want Kane to go over Larkin or Debrincat. Or just Larkin and Kane both going.
I know I know I’m wrong about it but it just seems so right for one last ride for showtime in big game moments.
(No offense to our season of course, we hope for some big ones down the stretch)
That won’t make me feel any better about being out of the playoffs picture.
Just don’t look at everybody else’s scoring
Also Seider having a career year. Tied for 10th in points among D. And I know this won’t matter to most, but he’s also the number one ranked D in fantasy hockey with the settings my league plays in (banger league) meaning he’s getting a lot of peripherals too.
Imagine if we had a goalie that could stop the puck consistently?!
