The Phoenix Suns lose their third straight game of the season. This time to the Utah Jazz 138 to 134. Let’s talk about it. At the beginning of the season, we were promised that the Phoenix Suns were not going to be as talented as they were in years past, but instead they were going to be the gritty, hard-nosed team that was going to do all the little things in efforts to get wins. And if I told you in the beginning of the game, there was one team that had an MMO that was going to be gritty, get on the floor, do the little things, out, hustle, you play in and play out, and I said, “Watch this game. Which team do you think’s identity that is?” You would tell me 100 out of 100 times it was the Utah Jazz. The Utah Jazz did everything that we want the Phoenix Suns to do. We know that they’re not going to outscore really good teams on a night innight out basis. The Suns want to get into bar fights. They want to muck up games. They want to make it excruciatingly painful to play them. That’s what the Jazz were tonight. The Utah Jazz had 28 offensive rebounds tonight. If you give an NBA team that many possessions in a game, that many attempts to score in the to get a bucket, they are going to do that. They will make you pay. And the Suns at times there was lapses and defenses in the first half. They were killing them with this inside pick and roll game, getting to the basket at will. That can’t happen. But the biggest culprit is this guy, the supermax player who had 34 points tonight. And I thought Eddie Johnson said it perfectly on the broadcast. He’s going to get his. But what does it look like? Booker was inefficient tonight. And the biggest moment of this game in overtime. He drove into three defenders, was about 10 feet away from the cup, could have easily put a shot up, but instead threw the ball back out, got timid again. Larry Markin takes it the other way, gets fouled, puts the Jazz over the Phoenix Suns, and the rest was history. They got up, never looked back again. Devin Booker needs to be better. Hold him to the super max standard that the Phoenix Suns said he was worth. None of this coddling. He’s the franchise player. He’s done so much for this team. I don’t care. Guess what the Suns are doing? Giving him $75 million a year. And the Suns dropped their third straight game. They fall to one and three on the season. Jazz get the W.   1. This…team…SUCKS. Just stop. This is a 15-67 finish. Ben, this franchise is a depressing JOKE. The Suns will NEVER win an NBA Championship. They are the NY JETS of the NBA, DEPRESSING AND CURSED. The Suns don't deserve fans. They really don't.

Him driving to the bucket and kicking out he did that two nights in a row already and it costed them points he needs to take over when it's his time like then you're saying I saw this before we even gave him the supermax Butterfinger book I'll call him and everybody will call me crazy he's doing the same s*** he did in the NBA finals he's not changed at all

  11. For not having Green or Brooks, I thought at least on the whole we held our own, and even though it went into OT and was close, we did lose, and unfortunately that's all that matters. But my pride isn't totally gone.

Man foh that loss ain’t on book at all so what if he was inefficient he’s shooting 51% on the season btw we not about to act like stars are extremely efficient every single game now it happens did he have his best game? No but he ain’t the only one who needs to be better either accept the loss & move on u bringing up hard nose & grit when their main player who brings that was out book is worth every penny we not doing this

  17. The overreacting in a rebuilding year is almost comical. Most of our roster is still trying to find its footing – the rest are injured. Oh man.. losing without Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks by four..

    I’m sorry, but I’m easily taking this hard knocks growth over the lazy ego show we saw the last two years.

  19. Weren’t they playing two 7ft players? And one that can shoot the lights out? I think suns did great with missing two of their starters and coach still trying to tweak the line up.
