[Thomas] Mavs entering a soft spot in the schedule, and nearly a week off to rest and get healthier. it’s likely they go on a little surge here. 8-2 in the next 10 with an 17-18 record seems feasible.

My Prediction: I think Pistons at home, and 76ers at home will be wins.
76ers on the road, and Jokic and Nuggets at home are losses. that’s 2/2 against the good teams.
I think they crush all of the bad teams on the schedule, 8-2 in next 10.
We need to strongly and quickly explore the trade market for AD to see if we’ve stored a good bit of his value. If we get 80% of his value a year ago we need to pull the trigger.
this is where we pump AD’s trade value to the max
Warriors and 6’rs offer toughest test with their high powered shooting guards
But I like our chances in all of these
These kinda topics come up every season and it hardly ever goes the way people expect them to
Im wondering if all of this is a big trap for the team. For me it feels that if the team makes the playin or even a mid playoff run, it would not be better to tank given the situation. Yes, when healty they can compete but evidence shows that wont happen constantly … so if a good run happens the best would be to try to sell AD and other for the most while theres a higher perception of value. . but rebuilding is the best way to go … with good draft picks would be ideal. Just my humble opinion.
Ppppfffffttttt
The real question is if AD can stay healthy in this stretch of 10 games.
Oh boy to go back to that 11-1 run when Luka got injured… We were living life…
Sick of fans just wanting trades no matter what. Makes it hard to enjoy the positives
Sure except you are forgetting we aren’t very good. I predict 6-4 at best, my guess is 5-5
Cooper Flagg best training is happening right now on the FLOOR with the vets he is playing with. They are allowing him to make rookie mistakes, cheering his successes and developing him into a better player and basketball pro of impact. Adding Kyrie to the mix on the floor will push that Kid and Nemby in a way very little otherwise would.
If I was worth billions, I wouldn’t trade anyone for shit right now. We are winning against good teams and the future stars of my franchise are literally flourishing in THIS environment.
I would wait on future GM to be hired and tackle it then. There is literally zero impetus to do anything now.
I’m not optimistic
If they go 7-3 I’ll probably say fuck it let’s try to make the playoffs, Coop is maturing rapidly and AD seems engaged. Try to get to the 7th seed and let the chips fall where they may. They care to much to tank. Probably being naive here but this stretch has shown me something and they’re so likable that I wanna see them win even if it’s gonna fuck up the draft pick.
Reality is AD is injured in the next few games and we go 4-6
