Kent (1992-1996) hit .279 as a Met with 67 HR’s, 267 RBI’s and recorded an 8.4 WAR in 498 games a Mets infielder!

Worst Mets uniform ever.
Born in 97, had 0 idea he was anywhere near a HOF level player
Treated pretty poorly by the fans and eventually run out of NY. Not his fault, he and Ryan Thompson were traded for a beloved Mets David Cone. Kent really became a HOFer as soon as he got to SF.
this is absolutely absurd. Terrible defensively, he was nothing but a very good bat. 5 time all-star, one MVP (2000)
Just trash to have Kent in without Bonds. The Hall is irrelevant nonsense.
I thought he was a HOFer as 2B. I heard he wasn’t the best teammate? Maybe that’s why he had to wait so long?
Only a 55 career WAR, less than non hall of famers Keith Hernandez and David Cone
He wasn’t a hall of fame truck washer. Guy was a known dickhead
He’ll go in as a Giant. He played there longest, won and MVP there and had his best stretch there by far.
He was on the Mets during what I would call lean years…I was in high school from 92-96 and it wasn’t fun being a Mets fan during that stretch…lol
Kent’s been my all time favorite since I was six years old in 1995. I was told my entire life he wouldn’t ever get in. Idgaf what the haters say, idc at all about anyone that deserves it more, Jeff Kent is headed to Cooperstown and sometimes childhood dreams can come true🥹
Never deserved that MVP but still deserves this.
Kent before Keith? Get the F outta here
Survey says, meh.
160 RBI’s by the time Obama takes them
They just let anyone in these days
Best 2b of the era, he should be in
Yawn 🥱
David Cone for Jeff Kent (awkward stud) and one of my favorite Mets of all time, Ryan Thompson. I’ll never forget it.
Still so funny to me that I’m a lifelong (albeit somewhat young) Mets fan but my introduction to Jeff Kent was Survivor lol
I got into a knock-down argument with friends in college back in 1995 when I said Kent was on track for a HOF career.
