Sharks vs. Hurricanes | NHL Highlights | December 07, 2025
We get ready for a game here that the Canes
would love to win on their seven game home stand. And we drop the puck and here we go.
Carolina will flip this one. Who’s getting the start? It’s his first start since November
17th at Boston. Chance here for Celebrrini gets it to Colin Graph and the Sharks get on the
board early. It’s one- nothing San Jose. What a pass this was from Celibbraney not to shoot the
puck. San Jose with a pinch and support causes a turnover. Smith gets it to Celebriny and Celebriny
makes the one extra pass to Colin Graph who beats Miller to the front of the net. I mean that’s
a beautiful goal and San Jose clearly wins the first shift of the game. Now that team was built
and made it to a Stanley Cup final a little bit of hard times but it looks like they might be
turning the corner with his youth as a snaps a shot. I mean the numbers I mean look at that
play he just made that pass but he’s complete. Keegan lets a shot go and absorbed by Nadalkovich.
He’ll get a whistle and a chance for San Jose to clear as Nick Ley veteran will get it free. A
shot right on Coachette will make the save on Todd Delandria. The Sharks for another turnover.
That shot blocked by Nikian is Jeff Skinner trying to find a way on the board against this
former team. Edmonton. Now a chance here for Eers creating a turnover. Nikolai Eers sending
it across. the chance and blasted just wide by Walker. Stripping Lety of the puck. Takes a peek
and then spins knowing where Walker was available. First round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Now San Jose will spill this one out. Here’s a chance by Celibbrini. Coach Czechov makes the
save. I would say the game here that we that we won in overtime was a big is the big one. Cory, we
appreciate it. Enjoy the weekend. Thank you. Thank you for that. machine as this shot is absorbed
by Coach. San Jose will try to reset with 50 seconds left on the penalty kill for Carolina.
Kees have the 23rd ranked penalty kill. Chance for the shark. Smith gets a drive through and
that’s kicked away by Cochov. Jarvis’s pass too far for Rajo. It’s going to come the other way.
Smith and the Sharks have numbers. Nice shot and snagged by Cochov. Blake will hang on. He’ll drop
it from Miller. Miller back for Jackson Blake. They’ll exchange again. Stay coven with a shot and
Alicovich fends it off with a blocker or they’ve either created or had Carolina’s best chances
here in this first period. Really good save to score. A power play goal. The big man got
in front and Jordan Stall. It’s been a while since he’s got a power play goal, but he’s
got one here and the Canes have tied it at one. Will be was Stall’s stick when he contacted
the puck below the crossbar. Good goal on the ice, which is important. This is not a coach’s
challenge. This is a standard league review. Spec puts it on a T for Gosses Bear. It looks to
me like he is legally below the bar. Goes gets in the middle just gives the big guy a chance. You
know, different looks tell you different things at or below the crossbar. It looks to
be a good goal to me as the the power play now driven for the last second. Martin
with a chance. He’ll send this one across Chadfield. Right on. Nidalkovich makes
the save where he was able Maso Romani picked the Blake trying to go back to Eers
but a good stick by Nalkovic deflected that puck just enough. Stan Kov drop this for
Blake. Blake stick handling a boom booth and Nidelovich flashing the leather. He’ll
catch it back then. be it Martin Gerber, Cam Ward or other goalenders from that time frame.
Marty Broaddor can keep running down the list out in front for Stall and he got the shot through
but Nadalkovich will make the save and hang on. Carolina Hurricane. team is part of that LA
Kings championship team in 2014 when Justin Williams was the K Smith trophy winner and capped
off the 06 cup. Here’s a chance for Carolina. Shot put right on by power play simply a five on five
end of a game. Just constantly using him all the time. And so it’s he adds up a little bit. But it
wasn’t listen he earns he earned everything he got that year and everything he’s got from trying to
keep his money in his own roll off of his stick and Demetrios knocked that one over. Got a story
about the first dad’s trip second. I can’t wait. I don’t think Lavyby knows it. Take away zone. Shot
right on you. Keeps it moving. Go back to good situation. A moment. You know what? There there
is a moment almost in every series that was and so I remember I was on my way in cuz something had
to be said like there it needed to get addressed right away because there was an important game
seven coming up and I was on my way back in and the coaches were behind me and as I got close to
the locker room score there Will Smith and it’s two-1 San Jose. Yeah, they’ve got some good young
players. Boy, you know I’ve been I’ve been just watching games and stuff like that. Let’s get a
look at this one here. That’s the other thing I was going to ask you, but Chip had the great story
about your dad. These young players coming to the league now. They’re ready to go. Will Smith at 20.
Min Cbrini at 19. Yes. Both of them watching both these guys play. That’s a nice shot right there.
And they both factored in on both goals and he was very good in that series where you beat the
Hurricanes in the second round in six. So trying to split the defense shot gets it. It would
take me all night to explain it because we had a a really great veteran uh veteran group. A lot
of guys that that played over a thousand games, haven’t won. I was part of that group. Carolina
has power play goal from their captain Jordan Stall. We stand now. Now it’s Jeff Skinner
breaking in on the backand waiting for coach goes Gumby and makes the save. How much will we
remember that stop from coach to prevent San Jose from their first two goal lead Carolina coming the
other way? Here’s Eers. Eers with a shot right on and it almost went the other way to get level at
two. Here’s Eers will keep this in. He’ll work it across for Chadfield. Chapfield take a peek across
for Gostas. Heers wheeling with it. Shot off of Nelkovich. Blake Skinner. He’ll make a play.
He’ll get it up for Cabbrini. Cabbrini trying to cut through. He’ll be taken off of his skates
and a penalty coming up as Jackson Blake makes the diving defensive play. Looking back, it was it’s
good to be on that like to score goals and have fun, you know, it was a fun Oh, wow. But yeah,
like that. Was yours that nice? No. No. No. But it, you know, I’m not obviously I’m not used to
scoring goals, but it’s when it comes to playoffs, everybody is like scored the goal, but there
was always moments in the game that was more important like Eric Stall to to even get it to to
an overtime. So, but no, good memories. fortunate that is not the one number one YouTube mo goals
I got like you know obviously the goal I score in my own net but appearing through to tomorrow
with the alumni game against the NC State Ice Pack here’s a long shot by Godette handled there
by coach game four of that series and Mark Rey’s going to join us give away here from Carolina
toria but across back to the coach stretches out the right leg. Go into the middle of the ring.
Down by Robinson. Robinson across a chance. Nation with a laser. Graz the shoulder of Nidelkovich on
the way by chance for little Jagrin to close this one out. He’ll get this up and it’ll be left
here. CBrini will chase after the Kane zone. He’ll take a peek. 21 seconds left here. CBrini’s
pass looking for Smith. Knocked off forest. Long drive was sent through by Ferraro, kicked away by
coach. He dropped. How much of a factor did your history with Rod play? Well, Rod, you know, Rod
and I, you know, we still are good friends to this day and uh he’s a special person and he’s a great
teammate. So, what do you see here from Eers? Um, this is a nice move actually. He’s uh a couple
times earlier in the second period, he actually should have shot the puck and he uh he stick
handled one too many times. that Western Hockey League product and him or Stan Coven from there
too. Chance for Martin Hook, another Westerner as well. South Carolina putting some heat on
here as Tankov tried to take that to the front, you know, and every year it seems to get tighter
and tighter right now and it’s uh you know, it’s great for the game and uh you know shot this
right there past the halfway point of the third period centering it. A chance there for AOC makes
a save. Dragged into by Little Puts the shot right back on Jackson Blake with his hand. Quick pass to
Aaho and unfortunately Aaho to pick still gets a a good chance but it would have been a better chance
had he not lost his footing and Demetri Orof came over staying in the net now a chance to drop that
back for Wenberg and get the second opportunity to keep it in now a little twoon-one across hanging
on excellent shot coach makes the save will work this one for Eers gets it out in front still there
special Jarvis gets to it And Adidulovic makes the save. You’ve just started to and Adidulkovich
is he took a peek. He saw where Blake was and he probably even saw Jarvis. Heck of a look
there from Eers getting that puck to the net for a one-toucher with such pace. But you can see
on that first look that Nadulkovich took a peek. Get it right back. Eating it through the seam.
Buters couldn’t get to it clean. Cabbrini takes a look with an empty net. Wberg being watched by
Jarvis and a penalty being called out in front though as Winberg gets it to Mlin Celbrini and
he’ll finish this hammering it into the empty net and it’s a 4-1 Shark lead. Folet lost his stick.
You’ve already got a six-on five situation. So it really becomes a six on four and still Celibbrini
along with Wenberg find a way to outnumber to create the opportunity at their own blue line
draw a penalty in the process. Everybody’s got somebody who can be a differencemaker. And if
you don’t have your game, you’ll get a result like here tonight. A 4-1 win for the San
Jose Sharks over the Carolina Hurricanes.
