NHL Status Report: Hedman expected back for Lightning against Islanders | NHL.com

I’m obviously glad to get Hedman back but I hope inserting him back into the lineup doesn’t mess with how well the defense has been playing lately. I’d like to see him with more limited minutes now that we know the other guys are capable of carrying that load a bit.
Not a slight on Hedman, I just think we’ve been playing him too much this season and that’s why we’ve seen his effectiveness kind of take a dip.
