Shohei for mayor
It makes sense why all of Shohei’s current and former teammates love him. This makes me think of [Lars Nootbar’s quote](https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/18gcczm/playerstribune_lars_nootbaar_on_shohei_ohtani/) that Shohei is an even better person than he is a baseball player.
Sounds like the teammate is Gus Varland, who pitched for the Dodgers in 2023 and 2024. His brother, Louis, pitched for the Blue Jays in the World Series. Shohei is a class act. No doubt about it. Goodness knows how many causes he supports anonymously…
