Really awesome that Wedgie was able to step up when Blackwood wasn’t healthy enough to play, and it’s nice to see Blackwood able to return the favor and give Wedgie a few days rest.
I’m actually kind of surprised Makar was so high on the offensive analytics chart against Philly. He has a lot of games where ai thought he was great but actually comes out to be towards the bottom, and then this game ESPECIALLY on the second power play I thought he was all out of sorts. Guess that’s just the shit that happens when statistics try to reflect the best defenseman on earth lol
Denver sports fans coming out of this weekend like:
Cannot stress enough how incredibly important it is to have elite goaltending. I don’t think we win the Philly game without Blackwood making key saves. And how awesome to have him fully back so Wedge could rest when he needed it. The wagon just keeps rollin’.
Do people not like the new gamescore breakout chart format? I love it, but maybe it doesn’t fit in this view lol.
