This is RIDICULOUS…

This is absolutely ridiculous that the St. Louis Blues top prospect Justin Carbono was left off a roster for a prestigious tournament that has fans living. But not only that, the St. Louis Blues have a prospect after a slow start to the season is lighting up a league and turning heads as he continues to dominate, showing the future of this team. We’re going to break down everything you need to know on a situation happening around Justin Johnson Carbono, plus an update on this prospects which will have fans raving. We’re going to break down all this and more. But before we get into, I just want to give a huge shout out to everyone watching. It means the world and we’ll keep you up to date with everything to do around the blues. But with that, Darius, let’s dive straight into this. Where we know the best prospect on this St. Louis Blues team is, of course, Justin Carbonau. Now, there is a tournament that released the roster. Team Canada came out with their full training camp roster. A lot of great names, but one player left off this, which is ridiculous in my opinion, was Justin Carbono, 23 goals in 23 games. after playing with the Blues through almost the majority of training camp. What is your thoughts on this ridiculous take by team Canada? It’s uh this one this one’s crazy. When I saw that he was left off the team, I mean, and it’s not just because of course, you know, you guys are Blues fans and we want the Blues to be successful and all of these things. And of course, we want a Blues prospect on the team. This is ridiculous. It is still a very skilled team. I’ll give them that. Right. And this is the the camp roster. They have to go to camp and they’re going to make some cuts. But for Carbono to not even get an invite is ludicrous. I I don’t understand this. He’s one of the best goal scorers in the entire CHL at this point right now. He is doing things in the QMJHL that nobody else is even touching, coming close to touching. So this one is ridiculous to me. And we know on top of it, I mean, he’s such a hardworking player. So this one is super confusing to me. It’s puzzling. Mark, I don’t get this move from team Canada why they would do this. I understand coaches and management have their guys sometimes, but and I would also understand if Carbono was just a pure goal scorer and he didn’t have the work ethic or any of that, but we know for a fact that’s not the case. He’s a different player. He’s built different. We know the work ethic is there. He was praised for his work ethic and that’s why, you know, besides his skill that he went so high in the draft and a lot of teams um you know had him ranked higher than 19. So, this is absolutely ridiculous. He’s one of the most talented players that was available. I don’t I can’t understand why he wasn’t named to at least the training camp roster to fight for a spot. This one’s ridiculous for me. We could talk about it till we’re blue in the face, but I I’m running out of words to describe this player and what he’s doing in the QJHL. And now I have no words to describe the fact that he was left off this team. It’s ridiculous. He should be able to represent Canada at this tournament and he would have absolutely ripped up this tournament and now he’s going to stay with this team, which is fine. He’s going to continue to rip up the league, but I don’t get it. I I would have liked him to be able to get into that situation, be able to play in high pressure situations as well. That’s good as you, you know, take steps to the next level. He’s not going to be able to have the opportunity to do that now. So, it’s ridiculous. It’s it’s I can’t believe that he was not named to the team. And I mean, two things I want to say as well, cuz we’re looking at a team. I do not want to take away from any player. Every player on this list deserves to be there, but I do think Justin Carbono has to be there. Now listen, American fans that are going to watch Team USA is very happy they’re not going to have to face Justin Carbono, a point per game, a goal per game scorer in the queue. The big thing with Justin Carbono, and I want to fall back onto what you’re saying about him wanting to get better. We see it every year and we’ve seen the Blues management talk about this a lot. Justin Carbau, even reporters winning to say he wants to continue getting better. He’s never satisfied with what he does. You can see this report from MA scouting going in to say he’s taken his play to another level since returning to the Kier. You know, Q, his talents, it’s undeniable. This is a guy that’s going to progress year after year. He’s going to be a star in this league. And not seeing him on this list, it sucks. He’ll probably never have another chance to represent Canada unless he makes, you know, an Olympic roster. But the big thing is losing them off this. It’s good for team USA, but it sucks for team Canada and the Blues whining their prospect of course to get as much action and in big tournaments like this. But Blues fans, we’re going to dive into another prospect. But before we do, are you happy he never made it cuz you want Team USA to win? Are you kind of annoyed that he never made it? Cuz there should be no goddamn reason that he’s not on this team. Let us know down in the comments. But with that, let’s get into more of a positive spin on a player where we did see last night Rotten Screenshot. Jacob Stansel was the man of the teddy bears last night, scoring a goal in Springfield, letting the Teddy Bears rain down in the ice. But not only did he score the goal that got the Teddy Bears on the ice, but he scored three of them, tying the game, and we’re seeing the emergence of a young guy and a former third round pick by the Blues coming through. We’ve seen him also get the star of the night as he did score three goals in this game. Darius, the third round pick, had a slow start to the year. We know he was out with injuries and he came over to North America or just started playing with the AHL team last season. What is your thoughts on the hattick? We see the five goals in 11 game a big frame 6’3 200 lb. What is your thoughts on his emergence starting to pick up in the AHL? Yeah, he’s been great and I mean he had a great campaign in the WHL last time out right as well and now he’s taken that step to the AHL to the next level to the pro level and like you mentioned missed some time last year but I mean he’s starting to put up some points uh at the AHL level now and I mean I don’t know if he’s going to be a point a game player but he’s going to be I think a very effective player and I think the Blues besides him and you can see on your screen now you know Carbono and obviously Stencil as well but I think the Blues have uh in theory one of the best prospect pools out there in the league right now and of course it looks like they might get another high draft pick this year, unfortunately. But I think that they do have a really, really good pool. We were talking about a bunch of guys heading into the season from the summer uh in training camp that if they didn’t sign so many older guys for the team that a lot of these younger guys would have made the team, they would have been fine, right? And I I feel like he’s just another one of those that’s like, you know, he’s going to make an impact in a couple years here. But again, doing some impressive stuff at the AHL level. We know that he can drive, play, uh all of these things. So, I’m excited to see how he continues to develop. Uh, and he’s one of those guys that I think you need to keep an eye on. There’s a list, right, when we’re talking about our Stenbergs and D’vorski was on that list at a time, right? And you’re a check we’re keeping an eye on in the OHL. These guys that will make an impact in just a couple of years. They’re not like years and years away. Just a couple of years they will be NHLers. This is another guy I think you add to that list that you can be excited about because ultimately when you look at the team, and I know I wanted to keep it a little bit more optimistic and positive, hasn’t been a good season. Looks like they’re going to get a high draft pick at this point at least. anything can happen and Blues fans more than anybody know that to be true. But um ultimately I think they have honestly one of the best prospect pools in the entire league at this point. But we won’t see it for a couple of years. But I think a couple of these guys like this are a couple way uh maybe a year or two away from actually making an impact at the NHL level cuz I think the big thing is you look at a lot of prospect pools teams have guys like Connor Bdderard obviously not a prospect but a top end talent that Keems is a first overall pick but the big thing with the Blues they have talent at every level in the NHL you have D’Vorski you have Stansel and guys like this in the AHL when you look at the juniors you still have multiple guys you have Justin Carnau you look overseas you have so many guys looks great just named to team Sweden as well. This Blues team and their prospect cool does look a really good and I mean look at his stencil one more time. 6’3 200 lb. He’s a bulldozer. He’s hard on the for check. He also has a heavy shot. This is NHL success written on a sheet of paper in my opinion. But my big thing Blues fans, who is your favorite prospect? Who is your highest hopes? We’ll take Justin Carbono and your check out because those guys have looked great. Ant Steenberg’s been incredible. D’vorski is probably not even a prospect at this point. Let us know all your thoughts down in the comments. And speaking of comments, let’s go to everyone’s favorite topic, which is comments of the day. Hoper looking like a brick wall in net. And we can see that of course he almost had the Gordy How hattrick. He didn’t have the fight, but he almost scored a goal as well. This is a guy that has been standing on his head. And listen, Bennington beat Montreal as well. What is your guys’ thoughts on the goalies? Let us know your thoughts and you could be featured on comment of the day. While you’re down there, hit the like, subscribe, share this with your friends. We’ll be back with another episode maybe today. So keep your eye for that. 1. Our AHL team that has had most of our top picks playing for them… They aren't that good. Without the guys that have been called up, our prospect ranking dips dramatically. From middle all the way to the bottom.

  2. Hofer getting involved in the scrum at the end of the game in Ottawa was AWESOME! He gained mad respect in my opinion! Do u guys see something like that being a catalyst to get things going in the right direction?
